Good quality printer, fair price
Review of OKI C 3300n by
goldfishlou
Advantages: Inexpensive, networked, good-quality output, inexpensive toner
Disadvantages: Could be faster
The OKI 3300n is a professional piece of kit. OKI isn't the most obvious brand, but we were lucky enough to see several of their more recent products demonstrated at a trade show. The design of the gear is nothing very visually special, but the print quality is simply excellent. As a result of that meeting, we picked up one of these for small business use, and liked it enough that we bought another.
On the one hand, there's a temptation to buy all-in-one ... ...is a very good printer. OKI build quality is pretty good. Print quality is outstanding, especially given the relatively high colour print speed of 12ppm. It goes without saying that if you're after a plain black-and-white device, this is not the one to go for. If you're not looking for a printer with network capabilities (and if you're not in an office environment, there's a reasonable likelihood that you aren't) then again this is unlikely to be ...

OKI lazer printer cheap and cheerful
Review of OKI C 3200 by
giles-y
Advantages: Cheap, Quick
Disadvantages: Heavy, running cost
The Oki C3200 lazer printer was great value purchase. i got mine for £160 which for a lazer printer full of toner is actually quite cheap.
the printer its self is quite big and can only do up to A4. it also weights a bit so pick a spot where it will live because you wont ever feel like moving it.
Using 4 color toner cartridiges (cyan, magenta, yellow, black.) the printer preduces great quality prints, thats once it warms, takes about 2mins in my ... ...the pages one after another almost no pause between pages, it seems to take less than 2 seconds per page. For the size of this printer i was suprised that it only holds 500 sheets of paper which means regular trips back to it. the upkeep can work out expencive depending on how much you use it toner prices start at £24 for 1,500 page black cartdrige then £43 for each other color so a whole set of cartdriges costs £153 which is just £7 short of the ...

Lexmark is very reliable
Review of Lexmark X3580 by
lulabell87
Advantages: wifi, screen
Disadvantages: 2 separate ink cartridges
...ago, i have always had lexmark printers, and i really liked the design of this one. It is an all in one, so a printer, scanner and copier, and the price ranges from around £30-50 which i think is reasonably good value for money. It takes two print cartridges, one black on colour, the numbers are 3 and 4 cartridges respectively, which are also fairly cheap. at between £13-18 depending on where you purchase them, I find the fact that it has separate ... ...just have one cartridge for both, as i personally use a lot more black than colour, so i only have to replace whichever one is needed as opposed to the whole cartridge, when there may still be colour ink left in it. It has an extendable tray which you can pull out while it is printing to catch the paper, and the buttons are easy to use. It was also very easy to install, with no major problems arising. It also has a good warning system of when the ...

Canon Pixma mp 460 - Fantastic all in one
Review of Canon Pixma MP460 by
panther23
Advantages: lcd display, durability, optional Bluetooth connection, qualitys, speed, design, functionality, rich software, reliability
Disadvantages: could be litle smaller
...mode is much quieter.
Canon has a number of standard, automatic cleaning procedures:
- standard cleaning eliminating unwanted smudges and lines in the print result
- Deep cleaning unclogging nozzles that can not be cleaned by regular cleaning
- Bottom plate cleaning which prevents paper smudges during printing
- Roller cleaning gives smoother paper feeding
Ink (Canon FINE (Full-lithography inkjet Nozzle Engineering) - 4-ink)
Inks does what ... ...outs. My one lasts for 8 months already and still did not have to replace them. Fact is that I' am not a printing maniac. I use them only when I need them. It is about 3-5 times a week. The cost of new ink varies from capacity. There are different options available on a market. That is good as you can suit size to your budget or if printing a lot buy bigger ink. Black costs about £11 and colour £16. For me it is not expensive. Quality costs.

Canon Pixma iP4300 Printer
Review of Canon PIXMA iP 4300 by
kindlyraccoon
Advantages: Two paper trays. Ability to print onto CD discs. Quiet
Disadvantages: Cost of original cartridges.
When I first bought the canon printer and got it out of the box, I felt that I had a printer that was sturdy and solid. The reason why a lot of people complain when they are in the shop is that there is never a cable with the printer. Again this is no exception. So either you buy a new one or hopefully, like me you had one from your last printer. The black and silver trim make it look quite smart, making you want to leave it out in the open. Really ... ...At first the cartridges from Canon were ok but I find at £8 each it does get expensive. I started to use compatible ones. Now then, if you go this route, people say that they break the printer. I have found this not to be true in my situation. The problem is when you have to change the chip over from one cartridge to another. A little tool is provided to remove the chip and some double sided tape for sticking it back on the new one. I have had a ...
