Review of HP PhotoSmart 7350 by Nann

Advantages: brilliant color photos, easily used with computer, nice looking machine, not noisy!
Disadvantages: quite slow to print, but worth the wait, double sided printing requires accessory, more cost

...photos, thank heavens I found HP Photosmart, it is quieter than the other two, easy to connect to computer, has four slots for different media cards thank heavens, (I have just changed digital camera, new one has stick and not card as previous camera) I am also able to download photos for friends and family with different type of media. I wish it would print both sides, but unfortunately you have to buy a special cartridge, I think it should be ...
...very surprised at the amount of photos plus printing that I obtained from the cartridge, so not as expensive as first thought. Most of the time I find I can use 'normal mode' for printing photos, sometime 'Best mode' has too much ink, unlike my previous printer which always had to be in best mode. obviously this saves on ink, trial and error will soon make sure you use the correct mode. I am very pleased with this printer and would certainly recommend ... Read review

Very Average
Review of HP PhotoSmart 7150 by querth

Advantages: HP paper tray arrangement
Disadvantages: Tri colour cartridges, no borderless printing

Overview The HP PhotoSmart 7150 is, as the name suggests, a printer designed for printing photos. This basically means you get a few extra features over an ‘ordinary’ HP DeskJet printer: Firstly the black cartridge can be removed and replaced with a photo cartridge containing 2 extra colours – light cyan and light magenta, plus black. These improve the range of colours the printer can reproduce for better quality photo output. Secondly the printer ...
...are limited to a few HP models. Form and Styling The printer follows the classic HP inkjet design – paper goes in at the front from a paper tray and follows a U shaped path, emerging again from the front of the printer into an output tray on top of the input tray. This quite a convenient design as it means you don’t need much access to the top or back of the printer so it can tucked away in a small space. A lid on the top of the printer allows ... Read review

HP Photosmart 7550
Review of HP PhotoSmart 7550 by cbzcbz

Advantages: print quality, ease of use, speed
Disadvantages: appearance

I bought this printer from Staples for £90 (ex-display Sale bargain!!) and am very happy with the quality of this unit. It offers 4800x1200 dpi(dots per inch) and up to 17ppm(pages per minute) in black, and up to 13ppm in colour. It connects through USB only. It features card readers for Smartmedia, Compactflash, SD, and memory stick, and with the colour screen, you can easily print direct from card onto photo paper. Using this screen you can ...
...you print them out. Printing a typical 6x4 photo only takes 2 minutes approx and the photo quality is superb and dries quickly. It can be used to print documents and text also with good print speeds and quality. This printer uses a 7-colour ink system to get good quality photos. It uses 56,57 (blk and clr) and 58(photo cart). These carts are relatively cheap to buy at £15-20 for black, and £25-30 for colour. With photo paper being cheap now from ... Read review

Great Digital Camera Companion
Review of HP PhotoSmart 130 by Snowflake1976

Advantages: Fantastic Print Quality
Disadvantages: slow to print

...right in the box. HP Photo and Imaging software is also included. The display on top is easy to use, you can select a range of photos you want to print from the memory card so you don’t have to print everything that is on it. If in doubt it comes with a very informative user manual which I found very easy to understand. The printer has room for a variety of different memory cards, these being CompactFlash, SmartMedia, Sony Memory Stick, Secure ...

A printer good for home use
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by Sweetpea1075

Advantages: Inexpensive, Nice design, modern looking, OK for everyday use
Disadvantages: Noisy, takes ages to start up, goes through ink quickly

...had broken. I have a Canon camera and know that Canon is a good well know brand. It also looks nice and modern and has a nice shiny black finish. For the jobs that I want it to do at the moment, it performs well, although I am hoping to print out some large photo prints in the near future, so will be upgrading. For standard photos and written documents, it does the job nicely, although some of the colours on the photos did not come out the same ...
...the printer itself, as my PC may not be set up correctly. The disadvantage is the amount of ink it uses. I have never used so much over the last few months, especially if you are printing out photos - it is not a cheap option. Much cheaper to get them done at processing lab or online. The ink is not cheap for this printer either, compared with other similar printers. Although I have found that even when it says it is empty, there is still actually ... Read review
