Xerox Phaser 6110
Review of Xerox Phaser 6110 by
Blimped
Advantages: Cheap colour laser, compact, easy to set up and use
Disadvantages: Noisy, slow, toner refills too small and difficult to obtain
The 6110 printing quality is very good in both colour & b&w even in draft mode. The unit is compact and simple in design. The print speed in b&w is adequate for home use but might be a bit slow for business use. Colour is too slow for anything other than a few copies. The machine is very reasonably priced and compares favourably with other similar printers spech wise.
Downside is the small paper tray (250 sheets) and no add on available. Initial ...

Good enough
Review of Xerox Phaser 6110N by
thewhitewolf
Advantages: small, affordable
Disadvantages: low output
...to business ink-jet printers by Xerox and i wouldn't argue with that at the price that it is sold at. A colour laser printer that is small and manageable its one of many printers in my workplace and heps churn out the vast amounts of corporate information we provide. Its very easy to use and is compatible with your PC or your Mac. Output is quite low at 4 pages per minute in colour and16 per minute in black and white. At 2400 x 600 Image Quality ...

Pleasantly Surprised
Review of Samsung CLP 300N by
daftks
Advantages: Price, Simple change of toners
Disadvantages: Relatively slow print speeds, Toner costs
...I am not the greatest Samsung fan after my little episode with its P10 laptop, but here is my story for this.
Being a graphic design student, I needed a printer that would print out designs on just about any sort of paper quickly and beautifully. I'm glad that CLP-300 didn't disappoint me...not yet anyway.
Being the world's smallest colour laser printer, and winning ... ...can be used for this, Samsung also offers a Download Centre that has user manuals, printer drivers, software and more, those annoying hold-the-line MIDI music can be halted for the mean time.
Overall, if you want relatively good prints for a bargain price printer, this is the one for you, otherwise, I'd advise to pay more.
Below is just some specifications from Samsung if you would like to know some technical aspects of this printer:
Speed(B/W): Up ...

Great cheap compact colour laser printer
Review of Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400W by
thereddragon
Advantages: Value for money, excellent print quality, compact size
Disadvantages: Can only be used with Windows - no Mac or Linux drivers
...- though having had several Konica and/or Minolta products over the years, I have always found the products to be quality ones. The compact size of this printer is a huge bonus - not being much larger than an inkjet printer makes it easy to position in a convenient place (bearing in mind that it is very heavy!). I have mine set up on a (strong) shelf, which I had not expected to be able to do with a colour laser printer - as someone who works in ... ...weight!) of small fridges, so the dimensions of the Magicolor were a very pleasant surprise!
Ease of use is also a big plus - the operator panel is easy to see and interpret, and getting to the cartridges is a doddle. Looking into the prices of replacement cartridges for similiar small, personal colour laser printers, I found that replacement cartridges for this printer were the cheapest, which was also one of the things that sold me on it.
The ...

I say yes
Review of Samsung CLP 300 by
Heeverburg
Advantages: Speed, cost and quality
Disadvantages: Nothing I can think off at the moment
This is a great printer. Beware that there are two types: The CLP 300 and the CLP 300N. The 300N is for networking. This means you can print to this printer from more than one PC if you have more than one PC in your house or office. For home use it is a waste of money because I do not print that often to justify networking.
The quality is great and really amazing and the speed is mind blowing. If you need REAL photo quality printing, this is not ... ...- Especially if you are a photo printing connoisseur. There is only one button - The on-off button, nothing else! Easy to use for the "not so computer literate", but could be disappointing for those who likes to tinker a bit.
I also own an inkjet photo printer which is great when it comes to quality. The advantage of the laser printer above the inkjet type is that it can print close to a thousand colour documents before you have to do anything to ...
