Size is sometimes very important
Review of HP DesignJet 130 by
Miskah
Advantages: Prints are massive and very high quality
Disadvantages: Big initial outlay - unlikely to be useful for the average home user.
...We decided to buy the HP DesignJet 130, A1 Inkjet Printer mainly due to its price but also because we were allowed to have a demonstration. It costs £820.12 excluding VAT (as we are a registered charity for fundraising purposes we don’t pay VAT) adding VAT to the price will raise it to £963.64.
It does appear to be a large amount of money, but many other departments in the NHS and social services are in the same boat so we will be able to share ... ...cost which isn’t bad
HP DesignJet 130, A1 Inkjet Printer

The most expensive disappointment of my life
Review of HP DesignJet T1100 by
Corbu
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Never work well from the begging, tech support terrible
...the cutter defective it took HP about a two weeks to have a new cutter send to the technician that was fixing the plotter. When I finally got my cutter working properly the car in which the cutter runs was not working properly. The technician requested info from HP and never got and answers back. I had to call personally HP to see what was going on and was told I was going to be contacted by the person that was taking care of my case never got that ... ...And to top things off I am losing money because I can print anything that I produce. HP doesn't not stand for what it claims when it comes to customer satisfaction and equipment warranty. Good luck to everyone who buys this plotter or anything from HP. ...

Designjet 120 review
Review of HP DesignJet 120nr by
cogilvy
Advantages: A1 print outs, good quality, quick
Disadvantages: Takes up a lot of room
The Designjet 120 is an excellent printer. It prints out prints from A4-A1 sizes. It prints out at a good speed and to high quality. The biggest problem with it is how much space it takes up. Good value for money! The coour comes out to be very good quality and vary precise. It is easy to load the paper. A3 and A4 paper can be automatically loaded by the printer. Bigger sizes have to be loaded by hand which is very easy and straight forward. You ...

HP PhotoSmart Pro B9180
Review of HP PhotoSmart Pro B9180 by
my_user
Advantages: Printer quality will lost for many many years
Disadvantages: please check my Drawbacks list with this printer:
I had brought this printer particularly to print my beautiful photos. Based on my experience the photos quality is simply superb. I have stuck few A3 size (bigger scenery photos) photos on my room walls without any laminations, already few months ago and I'm cleaning dust with cloth once in a while but still the photo print quality is very good, not seen even small shading on the print. I never had seen this kind of print quality in my life time. ... ...Drawbacks with this printer: It takes hell a lot of time to initialize the printer (minimum 15 to 20 minutes) by this time your 5 to 10% of ink cartridge will become empty.
It consumes too much of ink and ink bags are sky high price.
After a few months the whole printer with full o | |
