A not very good machine
Review of Lexmark Z 640 by milc03

Advantages: Cheap, prints
Disadvantages: Breaks, low printing, not good colour

I bought this printer a couple of years ago and since then it has been nothing but trouble. It was OK to start with, printing at a good speed, good colour. But, however after about a year the printing began to become so slow it takes an eternity to print one page. Also, the colour isn't as good as it used to be so we are printing sub-standard things. Recently, the printer has given up completely and we cannot print at all. The printer is quite hard ... Read review

love a lexmark
Review of Lexmark Z 645 by thebigc1690

Advantages: cheap and does all the basics very well.
Disadvantages: no frills!

...i use downsatirs and this lexmark comes no where near being able to compete with it, as i use the epson for disc printing photo printing and all sorts which this lexmark just doesnt do. That aside as i said it was only a second printer fo light work i was looking for and this printer can easily take on that task, its very user friendly and fairly fast. It produces very clear print and images even when the ink is running very low which is one thing ...
...to inferior printing. not so with this printer. At the very reasonable price of £35 i think i have a very durable, fast, and well equiped printer. The inks as with any printer these days are fairly expensive however we have used replica inks the last 2 times we have had to replace and they have worked perfectly with no loss of performance. if you are intending to purchase one of these then be sure to shop around as we saw it priced from the £35 ... Lexmark printer - ideal for me?
Review of Lexmark Z 617 by bublums6

Advantages: easy 2 use, a range of printing techniques
Disadvantages: read on

I bought this printer and it offers good colour quality. As ink ject printer, it is slow but it id good quality and you can print leaflets, flyers as we. The picture quality isn't perfect but it is alright for personal use at home. I found the printing speed average on pictures and document. The colour on output is good as long as your settings are good which you do at the start up. It is easy to use and you connect it by USB and the installation ...
...printed documents and I have faced no problems - a year so far - but with pictures, it is slower and the quality isn't that good so really it is dependent on what function do you want your printer th perform - fast and good quality output or cheaper and slower alternative. ... Read review

Advantages: easy to instal and use
Disadvantages: some small things....

Well.. I get it form woolworths for 29.99. I'm quite hapy from it. i don't care baout design because i bought it for printing not to watch it. There is no EXTRa features , its just a printer , thing that most users need. I never had problems with it so i didn't contact manufacturer. + are: -comes with the instal disk which you have to put in your Cd-rom and it's rteally easy to instal. -instruction manual is good and easy to anderstood. -easy ...
...and press print that's all. -you can choice quality of printing which is very helpfull depending what you want to print. -it's quite fast , 4 poges (book fragment) prints in 45 sek. -it's not so noisy like some of the BETHER brand printers. - are: -It dosn't come with the USb cable, you have to buy it yourself, (just normal USB cable will be fine) -Ink is really expensive 29.99 for both black and color. Well.. recomended for home use, or if ... Read review

Good overall but not the best
Review of Lexmark P 915 by tillyallen

Advantages: Brilliant quality and wide range of card slots.
Disadvantages: Expensive if replacing cartridges each time (DON'T, REFILL INSTEAD!!!!)

The Lexmark P915 is perfect for anyone needing printouts of documents and professional quality photos. The speed of the P915 is quite impressive but not the fastest printer. The quality is superior due to its large consumption of ink per print!! Although the ink is drained out of the cartridge very quickly, they can easily be refilled using a budget refill kit and saves you hundreds of pounds overall. The paper support isnt the best design and sometimes ...
...all if not positioned exactly correct. The wide range of memory card slots of hte P915 allows many cards to be attached but unfortunately for me, my XD card isnt actually recognised by the printer but is by the Olympus camera which came with the bundle (don't know what happened there!!) The ease of use of the P915 is simple; the menu clearly outlines the tools you can use to provide optimum quality such as clean cartridges and test pages. Overall, ... Read review
