Decent cheap printer
Review of Canon i 320 by random76

Advantages: Cheap, good quality
Disadvantages: Quite noisy

I spent a fair amount of time researching printers before I bought this one just over a year ago and I am very satisfied with it. Mostly I use it for text only but I have printed out a short book of pictures with it (as a present) and it was good quality. I’m sure there are better printers, but they are far more expensive. The i320 is a good quality cheap printer. The ink cartridges are fairly cheap too, which is a bonus. I have been using Canon-compatible ...
...yet) without any trouble. It’s not a particularly quiet printer, but neither is it the noisiest I’ve heard. If it’s in your bedroom I wouldn’t leave it printing while you’re in bed, but apart from that it’s not too loud. My only real complaint is that it doesn't come with any kind of tray to catch the printed pages. Apart from that I'd recommend it without hesitation. ... Read review

Suberb photo prints
Review of Canon S 330 Photo by newb00ts

Advantages: Excellent print quality
Disadvantages: slightly flimsy

I had been relying on an old black and white printer for far too long. My girlfriend spotted this one and bought it and after hearing good things from her I purchased it from PC World for £69.99. ----Style---- I actually think the printer is quite good looking. It has a smoked perspex front which opens outwards to allow access to the two ink cartridges and the printer head and the paper adjustment lever. Unfortunately it still follows the rather ...
...all its not bad looking and perhaps most importantly it looks and feels solid and well built. Only two buttons are on the printer itself these are the power and cancel button situated on the top just behind the smoked perspex cover. The only problems with the design are the output and input tray which are particulary flimsy and make the printer rather larger once attached. Due to the limited space I have for this printer I don't bother with the output ... Read review

All I know about S520
Review of Canon S 520 by alcap0ne

Advantages: Seperated colour ink tanks
Disadvantages: Large Size

This printer is good, I use this printer to print my photos on photo papers. The quality of the colour is fairly good. One good thing about this printer is that the colour inks are seperated eg, a seperate tank for blue, yellor and red by having seperated ink tanks, if next time it ran out of blue colour ink colour, all we need to do is just replace blue colour ink, rather than replace all (in some printers, three different colour inks are combined ...
...cheap, i think this is one of the advantages for most of the canan printers. Although this printer is an old model, but i still recommend people to buy, because i have been using this printer since one and a half year ago, until now it never breakdown (which is good) and the colour quality is still good. =) ... Small businesses with this service ethos?
Review of Canon Business Inkjet BIJ-1300 by Kaisersousa

Advantages: Says what it does on the box - cheapish to run
Disadvantages: Canon After sales service for small businesses

...concerned me. Whilst checking out Canon I came across this model and on paper was quite impressed - an inkjet (bubble jet) that could theoretically do what we needed at a much cheaper cost to run than a colour laser printer. So impressed was I that I bought two (2) of these printers, albeit one was a demo model with no printer head or any ink cartridges (I bought this latter one at a very discounted price) Pros: I must say that with the printer ...
...the cons: (1) Original Canon ink tank cartridge consumables for the BIJ 1300 are overpriced and extremely expensive. In fact a set of these (4 colours) will cost you nearly as much as the printer (£36 for black, £30 for each colour =£148 incl VAT + delivery) . (2) They are extremely hard to find and Canon's website doesn't help in many ways. You will find it difficulty, near impossible to get it with UK online sellers, only via Canon itself (3) ...
