The most expensive disappointment of my life
Review of HP DesignJet T1100 by Corbu

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Never work well from the begging, tech support terrible

...the cutter defective it took HP about a two weeks to have a new cutter send to the technician that was fixing the plotter. When I finally got my cutter working properly the car in which the cutter runs was not working properly. The technician requested info from HP and never got and answers back. I had to call personally HP to see what was going on and was told I was going to be contacted by the person that was taking care of my case never got that ...
...And to top things off I am losing money because I can print anything that I produce. HP doesn't not stand for what it claims when it comes to customer satisfaction and equipment warranty. Good luck to everyone who buys this plotter or anything from HP. ... Read review

A not very good machine
Review of Lexmark Z 640 by milc03

Advantages: Cheap, prints
Disadvantages: Breaks, low printing, not good colour

I bought this printer a couple of years ago and since then it has been nothing but trouble. It was OK to start with, printing at a good speed, good colour. But, however after about a year the printing began to become so slow it takes an eternity to print one page. Also, the colour isn't as good as it used to be so we are printing sub-standard things. Recently, the printer has given up completely and we cannot print at all. The printer is quite hard ... Read review

Size is sometimes very important
Review of HP DesignJet 130 by Miskah

Advantages: Prints are massive and very high quality
Disadvantages: Big initial outlay - unlikely to be useful for the average home user.

...We decided to buy the HP DesignJet 130, A1 Inkjet Printer mainly due to its price but also because we were allowed to have a demonstration. It costs £820.12 excluding VAT (as we are a registered charity for fundraising purposes we don’t pay VAT) adding VAT to the price will raise it to £963.64. It does appear to be a large amount of money, but many other departments in the NHS and social services are in the same boat so we will be able to share ...
...cost which isn’t bad HP DesignJet 130, A1 Inkjet Printer ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This printer is not as big as one would expect considering the size it prints out. Its dimensions are 1050 x 415 x 220 mm (W x D x H) and it weighs 22 kg. It has 6 individual ink cartridges; black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan and light magenta. The maximum paper size is 1625 mm x 625 mm (Length x Width) and it leaves a border of 5 mm at the ... Read review

love a lexmark
Review of Lexmark Z 645 by thebigc1690

Advantages: cheap and does all the basics very well.
Disadvantages: no frills!

...i use downsatirs and this lexmark comes no where near being able to compete with it, as i use the epson for disc printing photo printing and all sorts which this lexmark just doesnt do. That aside as i said it was only a second printer fo light work i was looking for and this printer can easily take on that task, its very user friendly and fairly fast. It produces very clear print and images even when the ink is running very low which is one thing ...
...to inferior printing. not so with this printer. At the very reasonable price of £35 i think i have a very durable, fast, and well equiped printer. The inks as with any printer these days are fairly expensive however we have used replica inks the last 2 times we have had to replace and they have worked perfectly with no loss of performance. if you are intending to purchase one of these then be sure to shop around as we saw it priced from the £35 ... Designjet 120 review
Review of HP DesignJet 120nr by cogilvy

Advantages: A1 print outs, good quality, quick
Disadvantages: Takes up a lot of room

The Designjet 120 is an excellent printer. It prints out prints from A4-A1 sizes. It prints out at a good speed and to high quality. The biggest problem with it is how much space it takes up. Good value for money! The coour comes out to be very good quality and vary precise. It is easy to load the paper. A3 and A4 paper can be automatically loaded by the printer. Bigger sizes have to be loaded by hand which is very easy and straight forward. You ... Read review
