Fine pictures
Review of Canon SELPHY CP750 by
thewhitewolf
Advantages: Fine pictures!
Disadvantages: Cheaper alternatives
...you would expect, coupled with Canon reliability. It has a 6.1 cm LCD screen for displaying the saved photo to be printed and its provides sharp, vivid picture quality. the screens surrounded by seven buttons and a four-way button pad which also contains the power on button. The power on button also doubles as the power off button.
Its very easy to set up and comes with red-eye removal, one feature i appreciate as those ghastly devil eyes have ruined ... ...pics though darker pictures can reduce this effect. Can be connected to your pc with the USB 2.0 cable which Canon provide. I would wait until the price dropped on this one or go for earier Selphy's which have the same picture quality at a cheaper price. ...

no more messy ink cardridges
Review of SAGEM Photo Easy 155 by
nedmusic
Advantages: seems to be a cheap method and easy to set up
Disadvantages: might be a problem with cartridge
Just got the sagem 155 photo printer and so far I am very impressed. The quality is the same as a normal photo from a shop and it takes less than a minute. I have found a slight problem with the cartridge not being seen but will update you later. wish I had bought one of these earlier.this will solve the problem I have been having with ink jet printers ie paper and ink quality not good. at the moment these printers are available on and off at the ...

Even the wife admits it makes pretty good prints
Review of Sony Picture Station DPP-FP30 by
dobieg
Advantages: Astonishingly good prints
Disadvantages: requires special media, 23p a sheet
...announced that I'd bought a Sony DDP-FP30 (well, at any rate, that was the 'polite' translation!)
She was right to a point - We use a Samsung laser printer (which I've reviewed previously)on the main PC - mostly for printing reports, projects and general rubbish that doesn't need colour.
We've got an ancient Epson colour inkjet, which is attached to the kid's PC, which aspires to photo quality, but really doesn't deliver the goods, and there's ... ...which are connected to an absolute dinosaur of a minicomputer (size and weight of a couple of washing machines!)
So why invest in 'another toy which you'll get fed up with in a couple of weeks'?
- well - this one's different! (but I would say that!)
The DPP-FP30 is a compact dye sublimation printer which is designed to produce high quality colour photographs in what approximates to 'quarter plate' format (roughly 4"x6" - less margins).
The claimed ...

Why the Canon Selphy is worth buying.......
Review of Canon SELPHY CP510 by
dani-x-
Advantages: Good quality photos.
Disadvantages: It's a bit slow.
All I can say is the best photo printer ever. It is so small you can take it anywhere you go so if you are on holiday you can take a photo and print it there. Also what I like about this printer is the way the photopaper is special. The photopaper is 6x4 and on the back is a bit for a stamp and some lines (IT'S A POSTCARD).How cool you get to make your won postcards out of your photos. You can connect it straight to your camera and is easy to set ... ...use your printer. The printer goes quite slow to get the photos to the best quality it can. It prints out the photos by layering the colour on top of each other (yellow, red and lastly blue and then glossy finish). The printer looks modern and is well worth th money. ...

Great quality personal photo prints!
Review of SAGEM Photo Easy 255 by
lordmercia
Advantages: Affordable, Connectivity, Quick, Portable.
Disadvantages: Consumable Availability, Head Gets Dirty Quickly.
Well, these days everyone likes photo's. Most have digital camera's and so personal photo printers are quickly becoming must have accessories to complement the cameras. Being honest, I myself wasn't too interested in owning a personal photo printer, I was perfectly happy using Boot's online service to get my digital prints or simply use my standard printer, although upon owning one I do find it has it's benefits, especially since I got it free from ... ...phone contract.)
Features:
Dye Sublimation Technology (Oooo... Fancy)
Removable paper tray
Blue-tooth Connection
Various Memory Card Compatibility (SD, MS Pro, Mini SD etc.)
Pict-Bridge
Direct USB input
Colour Screen
Easy To Navigate Menu's
Removable Print Film
Now for those who don't know exactly what dye sublimation technology really is, don't worry as neither do I. It prints amazing quality pictures and in the end isn't that all that ...
