...poor old geriatric canon inkjet. HP quote about 8ppm and that seems about right. Not the fastest of lasers I know but were not doing runs of 20,000 books so it suits us fine. We purchased this laser printer over a year ago now, and it's never let us down yet! It's a nice size, very sturdy and was very easy to set up - pretty much just plug in and use. The real plus here, is the price. For your money you get a simple yet reliable printer. The printing speed really impressed me, much faster than any inkjet I've ever used. It's also a lot quieter than some laser printers I've used, and definitely quieter than any inkjet. ...

Advantages: Cheap colour laser, compact, easy to set up and use
Disadvantages: Noisy, slow, toner refills too small and difficult to obtain

The 6110 printing quality is very good in both colour & b&w even in draft mode. The unit is compact and simple in design. The print speed in b&w is adequate for home use but might be a bit slow for business use. Colour is too slow for anything other than a few copies. This product is very good for producing business type letters. It is fast and reliable and rarely gets jammed. It can use universal paper as well as the more expensive type papers and the memory capacity is very good.
