I have had this printer for over a year now - I bought it when they had just hit the market. Looking at the price now brings a tear to my eye (£54 is an absolute bargain). I shopped around at the time & paid around £90. Cartridges were a bit expensive, but third party cartridges are now available & remember that the use of four separate ink tanks prevents a lot of wastage. ...is logged by the printer - so bye bye warranty! I would say it is quite economical with the ink - I have only replaced the cartridges a couple of times & it does see a reasonable amount of use.
