It really works it's life!!!
Review of Lexmark Optra E+ by bcnlondon

Advantages: Very long working life
Disadvantages: Installation might be a pain in the neck!

...PS2 under the name e.g. Lexmark PS2 and once - better printing quality - as a PCL5 under the name Lexmark PCL5 - faster print speed) and try to use it once as a PS2 and once as a PCL5. This will confuse the printer driver which will start printing the printer software code. For your own protection I strongly suggest you to avoid installing MarkVision (the Lexmark printing control panel facility) which was especially made by Lexmark to drive you ...
...heavy duty printers ever! Lexmark recommends to print on paper stock of up to 180 gsm, while I have printed - with a little pushing - paper stock of up to 300 gsm with no problems. If you are a graphic designer, you will find Optra E+ (with PS2 enhancement) ideal for printing in-house newsletters and other mass mailing documents (brochures, flyers etc.). The Optra E+ prints at 15 (heavy graphics + pictures) to 30 (text + simple line art graphics) ... Read review

Samsung ML4500 Brilliant!
Review of Samsung ML 4500 by Seton

Advantages: Cost, reliability, ease of use, top quality print, compact size
Disadvantages: It's a hard working, reliable Volvo, not a Jaguar

...I would always stick with Samsung and I might look for one that prints more copies per minute and possibly in colour simply because of the job that I do, but if there was nothing suitable I would be delighted to buy the exact same model and would happily pay three times what I did. The fact that you can now get this model for nearly half the price is amazing. If you want clever extras and fancy tricks it might not be the model for you, but if you ...
...a year at @ £40), extremely hard working and problem free, I'm very happy to recommend this printer. The quality of print is excellent (I create professional books, thesis, wedding invitations and high quality business documents.) with great sharpness on a range of different papers. I've never had any problem with it and you can literally take it out of the box and go. ... Read review

Samsung ML-1610
Review of Samsung ML 1610 by taylora-2006

Advantages: Very Cheap for a laser printer. Toner Save Function.
Disadvantages: Slow response time. No Printer USB Cable.

I purchased the the Samsung ML-1610 between 2 and 3 years ago and paid £99.00 which I thought was excellent value for a laser printer. It was the cheapest laser printer onthe market at thetime and I'll admit I wasn't expecting it to be a great printer. I was intending to replace it once I had the money to get a better quality one. Looks-wise the Samsung ML-1610 laser printer is a great looking printer. It is quite compact and been well designed ...
...still being used with most of Samsung's current printers. The printer prints with reasonable quality. It takes quite some time to start up before it prints (this is when it is heating up to almost melt the toner to the page which is why pages come out of a laser printer warm), but when it starts printing, it can print off several full pages of text very quickly. The printer can now be picked up for just £50, best place I've found to buy: e-bay. At ... Read review

A quick and simple desktop laser printer
Review of Dell Laser Printer 1100 by DNMark

Advantages: Quick, sharp printing, compact size
Disadvantages: Easily jammed

The Dell 1100 offers the convenience of a laser printer in a size suitable for personal use. However, the dimensions given do not include the paper tray, which adds about four inches to the footprint when the printer is loaded with A4. The printer itself is of a very simple design, with a single button to control printing operations. This is mostly adequate; however, it does cause difficulty in the event of a paper jam. I often found I had to carefully ...
...the ease of installing the Dell 1100, as it came preinstalled with my Dell laptop; however, I have had no software or driver issues with it; the supplied drivers seem thoroughly reliable. This is an excellent printer for personal use printing type or other black-and-white documents. It is suitable for reasonably high-volume print tasks and will complete them quickly; however, the light build of the paper trays, lack of direct control of the hardware ... Read review
