We reported the problem on Thursday and the engineer arrived on Monday lunchtime, not quite the next day but a fairly good response time, besides which the printer was still functioning, just about. I personally don't have one of these but my dad does he bought it to replace his broken Lexmark that he had had for a few years. I have used this printer several times and this is my opinion on it. It was pretty easy to install taking only 10-15 minuetes to get it working i ended up doing this as my parents aren't very familiar with computer stuff. ...has found with this is that the toner cartridges are very pricey compared to other brands of printer they can also be harder to get hold of than the ink cartridges for the printer i own. It cost £420 when new which is expensive as this was in a sale and the original price was over £500. However, after reading up on it a bit, I find that Lexmark offer a 'Returns Program' toner, which is priced at a reasonable level, with the condition that the toner be sent back to them after use, presumably to compete with the likes of Cartridge World. The Xerox Phaser 6125vn comes from a long line of thoroughbreds, Xerox are experts at turning out solid printers and they even look good. The print quality is more than adequate and there print speed is ok too. This printer is great for small offices, Estate Agents seem to like them and I can see why, they are reliable and ideal for printing house info with colour pictures of "nice fixer uppers". ...of warrantee can be frustrating, Xerox will repair but there prices go through the roof and getting parts is an expensive and torturous ordeal if you want to fit them yourself, I have to order bits from France and it can take up to 14 days.
