New Photo Printer? Look No Futher!
Review of Canon PIXMA IP6700D by Craigshadow12

Advantages: Stylish,On printer controls, Easy to set up
Disadvantages: Some minor problems with borders and canceling

...having problems with my old Canon model. My old printer was good quality but had just reached the end of its lifespan. I chose this product as a replacement as it looked stylish and I figured it would compliment my new digital camera perfectly. The first thing that attracted me to this product was the design. It is quite compact and should fit in with plenty of room on any desk or work surface. As there is a wide range of printers out there it can ...

rubbish printer look elsewhere
Review of Canon PIXMA IP6600D by chrisplatt999

Advantages: absolutely and totally and completely rubbish- see my review below.
Disadvantages: absolutely all a complete and utter waste of time.

...spent nearly £1700 on a Canon EOS 5D that a Canon printer would be compatible. I am going back to to my trusty HP printer. I can only assume that the person who posted the other review on this product is either very lucky or employed by Canon This review requires me to include a certain number of words. I cannot think of anything more that is not rude and not offensive so that's it as far as I am concerned... ... Read review

A printer good for home use
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by Sweetpea1075

Advantages: Inexpensive, Nice design, modern looking, OK for everyday use
Disadvantages: Noisy, takes ages to start up, goes through ink quickly

...had broken. I have a Canon camera and know that Canon is a good well know brand. It also looks nice and modern and has a nice shiny black finish. For the jobs that I want it to do at the moment, it performs well, although I am hoping to print out some large photo prints in the near future, so will be upgrading. For standard photos and written documents, it does the job nicely, although some of the colours on the photos did not come out the same ...
...the printer itself, as my PC may not be set up correctly. The disadvantage is the amount of ink it uses. I have never used so much over the last few months, especially if you are printing out photos - it is not a cheap option. Much cheaper to get them done at processing lab or online. The ink is not cheap for this printer either, compared with other similar printers. Although I have found that even when it says it is empty, there is still actually ... Read review

A good printer with added "bits"
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R300 by Carrotts73

Advantages: good print quality, cheap copy cartridges, stand alone if needed
Disadvantages: none really

The Epson R300 is a good low cost Photo Printer. It has lots of useful features, for instance you can print direct from a camera, or pop a memory card into the reader on the front. If you're connected to a PC then it can use the memory card reader as well. It is also possible to attach a Bluetooth module and print direct from a camera phone, but I've not tried this. You can buy a colour LCD for it so that you can preview pictures before you print ...
...and it can knock 6x4 prints out in a minute or so. It also has the capability of printing direct onto white coated CD/DVDs if you want to make your Disks look smart! I get my ink from eBay, and this does not seem to massively affect the quality of printouts but is much cheaper. The set up is very straightforward. The printer has a little LCD screen that gives out status messages and other information, so it is worth remembering this before you ... Read review
