A quick and simple desktop laser printer
Review of Dell Laser Printer 1100 by DNMark

Advantages: Quick, sharp printing, compact size
Disadvantages: Easily jammed

The Dell 1100 offers the convenience of a laser printer in a size suitable for personal use. However, the dimensions given do not include the paper tray, which adds about four inches to the footprint when the printer is loaded with A4. The printer itself is of a very simple design, with a single button to control printing operations. This is mostly adequate; however, it does cause difficulty in the event of a paper jam. I often found I had to carefully ...
...the ease of installing the Dell 1100, as it came preinstalled with my Dell laptop; however, I have had no software or driver issues with it; the supplied drivers seem thoroughly reliable. This is an excellent printer for personal use printing type or other black-and-white documents. It is suitable for reasonably high-volume print tasks and will complete them quickly; however, the light build of the paper trays, lack of direct control of the hardware ... Read review

laser printer
Review of Dell Laser Printer 1720dn by techno_man_37

Advantages: laser printer
Disadvantages: bit dark on photos

...in itself is really fast, dell claims this one can do about 25 pages a minute, however in testing I actually managed to get nearly 30 pages out of this, and even got 31 pages on the third time I tested it, so perhaps 30 pages per minute is more accurate for this printer. All of this great quality and even greater speeds does however come at a price, and quite a high price for a printer. You should be able to get one of these for a bout £100, or ...

So this is a great printer to buy if you do have to money to spend on a decent printer to have at home, its also fantastic for a office or home office too. ... Read review

Good quality bargian printer
Review of Dell Color Printer 725 by laurapipe01

Advantages: Cheap, reliable and works with Windows Vista
Disadvantages: Expensive ink if brought direct from Dell

The Dell 725 printer is available to purchase directly from Dell online. This is what I would class as their budget range of printer. I purchased this printer nearly 12 months ago, at the bargain price of £19.99 (prices may differ now), at the time it also came with free delivery. The printer was brought as a in between printer as I did not expect it to last long at the price it was available for. Needless to say, it's been excellent 12 months down ...
...by all means buy the Dell cartridges. I'm sure if you search the internet you'll be able to find some compatible cartridges (although I've not had much luck with this). I would also say to be wary of the draft feature. First off, only use the draft feature when printing black, if you try to print a colour with the draft feature then it ends up being near impossible to see. Also, you need to keep your eye on the printer when printing in draft, it ... Read review

Dell 926 All In One Printer
Review of Dell 926 by markybaby76

Advantages: Price, Multifunction,
Disadvantages: No USB cable included, Settings hard to navigate under Vista, Ink not cheap

...my entire PC setup as Dell braded. I purchased this as I needed a replacement printer for my Ageing Epson R200 inkjet, also I needed a Scanner. So far I have fond it to be vry quick at printing both photo\'s and documents. Hwever Photo scanning does not appear to be that great, but that could be down to me as navigateing the setting under Windows for the scanner software on Vista is quite a chore. It does boast some quite good specs however, including ... Read review
