...work with any of the canon software or any Photo shop software either. The software provided is ok. It is basic but will allow you to crop and edit photos. It will also let you get rid of red eye and add anything too it if you wish. Some shops have this as an extra so don't assume you will get software with the printer. -Price- I can't argue about the price. ...As regards printing cartridges, the Canon brand may not be the cheapest, but then again, you must pay for quality. Also, there aren't really any "cheap" brands of much worth available anyway. In all fairness, the durability of the cartridges makes them worth everything single penny in my view. I regularly use my printer, and I was surprised by how economic it was.
