Good Hardware, Bad Software
Review of Canon Laser Shot LBP 2900 by
HARioV
Advantages: good print quality
Disadvantages: bad software
...you take a look at Canon LBP2900 you will see that this printer mimic HP LaserJet 1020 and HP LaserJet 1022, not only in the design but it take the SAME cartridge (Q2612A or 12A for short)....The seller tell me that and I saw that with my eyes
The top cover should have a sensor to tell you that the cover is closed so if you forget to open it the papers will not accumulate under the cover..
And if we compare it to HP LaserJet 1022 you will find ... ...from dusts (Canon LBP3000 have a tray cover).
LBP2900 produce good quality prints but this printer is an example for the product that you hate because of its software...
If you have a 64-bit system (like Vista64 or XP x64) or you are using Mac OS X then don't buy it, because there is no drivers for these systems, also there is drivers for Linux but only 32-bit.
The usability of the printer software is bad; you will always forget where the printer ...

Top quality package at low price!!!
Review of Brother MFC-235C by
GR1974
Advantages: Neat all in one package that's easy to use
Disadvantages: None, so far!!!
What can I say, I bought this printer as an impulse buy. I only paid £45 for it brand new from a well known stationery shop. It has replaced a mono-laser printer bought second hand. To get a copier/scanner/printer for £45 is good, but one that faxes as well. It did as was claimed on the box, I just plugged it in, connected it to my laptop and within minutes the drivers were installed and it was ready for use. I was a bit dubious about the fax, but ...

Does what it says on the box.
Review of Hewlett Packard PSC 1610 All-in-One by
OBowner
Advantages: Business quality at home.
Disadvantages: Can't think of any.
For less than £90 I bought a piece of kit that did what it said on the box. Quicker than my last (Epson) and quieter, great print quality. I printed a £20 note and put it with others and my friend did not see it imediatly. I have used the digital camera card slot and printed gloss prints and transfered to my main computer. I print my own product sheet with full colour pictures and text and all with good results. It prints envelopes with no problem ...

EPSON STYLUS CX6600 MULTI-PRINTER, TRULY SUPERB!
Review of Epson Stylus CX6600 by
Hi-Spec-Tek
Advantages: STYLISH,WELL ENGINEERED, GOOD QUALITY PRINTING AND COPYING.
Disadvantages: I HAVE FOUND NONE IN ALMOST 4 YEARS!!
THE EPSON STYLUS CX6600 MULTI-FUNCTION PRINTER.
My last review was of the Epson Stylus R265. In that review I also mentioned that I had one for about four years that had been trouble free. THIS IS THE ONE!!. I am delighted that I purchased this model for my scanning, faxing, photographic printing requirements. Regarding the design, there are no square corners! It has a nicely rounded and an asthetically pleasing.
I purchased this model for the ... ...operations. Also this model, the EPSON STYLUS CX6600, does print good photographs and the photo-copy results on glossy photo papers is good too.
The high resolution scanning on the multi-printer cannot be faulted, the scanned to PC results are indeed as good if not better than the original photograph or document. The images can be increased or decreased in size from the original by percentage. So very useful.
At the front of the printer there is ...

Epson D92
Review of Epson Stylus D92 by
Bossjock
Advantages: Cheap, Excellent reproduction of Graphics
Disadvantages: Expensive Epson Ink, fiddly, insufficient choice of settings
As a user of Epson printers for a good number of years I was extremely disappointed with this Printer. The beauty of Epson for me has always been the low cost of Purchase as well as the ability to use compatible inks. I use mine heavily and so when it expired I could easily and cheaply replace it.
As other reviewers have said, it is probably good only for occasional use however my problem, and why I won't buy another Epson, is that Epson deny you ... ...inks the chip on the Epson D92 told me the Ink had run out on 'Black' after only a few prints. On inspecting the Cartridge it was 2/3rds full, I then had to 'trick' the Printer into thinking I'd replaced the cartridge altogether, something a less experienced user might not know how to do, and something I don't want to be doing too often either as it is tedious and should be unnecessary. Epson previously gave a choice of accept / reject along with ...
