Excellent Epson
Review of Epson Stylus DX8400 by almarsden

Advantages: Good Quality Prints & Lots Of Useful Features
Disadvantages: Small Colour Ink Provided

...decided we would like an Epson because they are reliable, cartridges aren't overly expensive and Epson is a trusted brand that we have used previously without any problem. So having decided upon an Epson we narrowed the model down and picked the Epson Stylus DX8400 it had everything we wanted and also had a cool LCD display screen for viewing status information and also images that are downloaded off any memory cards which I thought was a really ...

Simply brilliant!
Review of Epson Stylus Photo 1400 by il_cacciatore

Advantages: A3+ capability, CD/DVD printing function, Resolution, Pict Bridge Port, Colour depth.
Disadvantages: Bulky (but to be expected?), no ISB cable or firewire port, Plastic build.

...☼ My long lived Epson C42 plus gave up the ghost a while back so I decided to invest in a new printer. I’ve stayed loyal to Epson as there were no alternatives similar in specification and ability out on the market just now in the same price bracket as the Stylus 1400. I chose this printer as I want a printer that can print high quality photographs from digital and scanned photographs, something capable of A3 print size to print technical ...
...at £9.45 each for oem Epson cartridges. ☼ Packaging ☼ The box it comes packed in is a bit bulky as it is an A3 printer though it features carry handles to make life easier. It is well styled and describes key points of the printer in different languages. My box contained: ☺Software CD ☺Six ink cartridges (described later) ☺Power cable ☺Warranty Card ☺Quick Start Guide ☺CD print tray contraption ... Read review

family printer
Review of Epson Stylus D120 by techno_man_37

Advantages: quality
Disadvantages: looks

This Epson printer looks like a quite poor quality family home printer. I don't mean its design as it actually looks quite cool. However just because its shape looks like all the other rubbish quality printers that came before. This printer however is really good quality, and Epson even boast it makes a sensible alternative to a laser printer in the home or office. This printer shows you, that you can get the same quality and speed from an inkjet ...
...than a laser printer, infact a lot cheaper. you could buy on of these for around £50, where as a laser printer could cost anything up to £500 and might not even be as good quality. What I meant by this printer looks like any other, is that its got a simple body, a paper feeder at the top and a slot at the bottom, where you printed documents come out of. You can probably all imagined what this looks like already, its just your typical printer. The ... Read review

Excelent Epson, again.
Review of Epson EPL 6200L by Bolly_eggs

Advantages: Very Quick to print. Good DPI. GREAT value for money.
Disadvantages: Ugly. not practical for large buisness'

Epson EPL 6200L The Epson EPL 6200 is a ‘High performance A4 mono professional printer’ or so say Epson. Never being afraid to give new technology a go I jumped upon the opportunity to play with this rather large and bulky laser printer. My father is a dentist and he needed a hard wearing, cheap printer to print leaflets, booklets and all manner of other things you generally find information upon. For a hard wearing and a (long term) cheap printer ...
...it gave the impression that Epson did not have to put much effort into the design of the packaging, a little flicker in my mind hoped that the money saved from the packaging would have been placed back into the printer. Anxious to play with this big, black box I kept glancing over my seat until we arrived home. Taking the printer out of the box was simple enough, open the slots, remove polystyrene bound printer and your away! The printer came with ... Read review

EPSON EPL6200-A tough competitor in laser printing
Review of Epson EPL 6200 by gusgusrule

Advantages: Fast, excellent quality, relatively cheap to buy
Disadvantages: Bland design, high cost of consumables

I'm quite fond of Epson laser printers, for me they represent good quality and speed at phenomenally low prices. My first Epson laser printer was the EPL 5700L, but things have moved on since then. That was a bog standard, 8 pages per minute printer, but it didn't stop me being impressed, you can read my earlier review on this printer in my archive. But I knew my EPL 5700 wasn't going to last forever, and when I found out it needed its toner replacing ...
...----------------- Why Epson? ----------------- Epson for me represent a market leader in the printing industry, they compete with companies such as HP, Canon and Lexmark. But what I like about Epson inparticular is that they are specialists in their field, instead of companies like HP which have diversified to some extent and now make computers, Epson have stuck to what they're good at, making printers and scanners and other imaging products. ...
