great for pro photographers
Review of Epson Stylus Pro 3800 by pressphotography

Advantages: Professional A2 printing for under £1000.
Disadvantages: Large size, but not compared to other A2 printers

...smaller Epson printers which often only contain about 8ml of ink. If you are doing a lot of printing the Epson pro 4800 might be a better choice with it's larger 240ml cartridges and the ability to use roll paper. All in this is a great printer . ... Read review

Saved from the dump! A bargain!
Review of Epson Stylus Color 1160 by victoriaelectra

Advantages: A3 printer for £2.50
Disadvantages: Needed a good scrub with a cream cleaner to get the grime off it.

...partner had previously owned the Epson 760 and before that another Epson. Doing Architecture at Plymouth he finds it hard to get access to their large printers and some College sites also charged for the service, so he had dreamt of owning one for a long time. He has a bit of a recycling centre and skip fettish. He loves rummiging through rubbish and has always been able to pick up some real bargains. He has in the past got a TV stand, an LG flat ...
...back with a filthy A3 Epson Stylus Color 1160. It was wet and covered in ink because it was kept outside and had ink drip on it from other printers that were resting on top. Now before I carry on I must tell you that most recycling centres have a strict policy of not selling electrical goods to the public. On that particular day I think that the recycling operative thought my partner was a mug, infact they laughed when he asked how much they wanted ... Read review

Fast, high quality and cheap A1 size printing.
Review of Epson Stylus Pro 7600 by Nathan.crocker

Advantages: Cheap cost per print and reliable.
Disadvantages: Epson support not great unless you have a paid business contract.

...in my printing business. The Epson 7600 has been the best quality for prints and most reliable printer I have bought. I've owned both Hp and Encad and neither offer the same print quality or speed as the Epson. I have primarily used the printer for printing direct to canvas but have used it with other media such as paper and films. Although the Epson printer is fantastic if you want to do canvas prints DO NOT buy Epson's own brand canvas roll, the ...
...money on printing buy the Epson 9600 inks the twice the capacity but not double the cost so you save on costs per print, you will have to run the printer with the ink door open but its worth it. You can save more money again by buying a CIS (Continuous Ink System) you have all your inks in 1 litre containers an run tubes into modified ink cartridges, you can save a lot of money on inks this way but it is quite troublesome to initially set up and ... A printer good for home use
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by Sweetpea1075

Advantages: Inexpensive, Nice design, modern looking, OK for everyday use
Disadvantages: Noisy, takes ages to start up, goes through ink quickly

...had broken. I have a Canon camera and know that Canon is a good well know brand. It also looks nice and modern and has a nice shiny black finish. For the jobs that I want it to do at the moment, it performs well, although I am hoping to print out some large photo prints in the near future, so will be upgrading. For standard photos and written documents, it does the job nicely, although some of the colours on the photos did not come out the same ...
...the printer itself, as my PC may not be set up correctly. The disadvantage is the amount of ink it uses. I have never used so much over the last few months, especially if you are printing out photos - it is not a cheap option. Much cheaper to get them done at processing lab or online. The ink is not cheap for this printer either, compared with other similar printers. Although I have found that even when it says it is empty, there is still actually ... Read review
