Disadvantages: Ugly. not practical for large buisness'
Epson EPL 6200L
The Epson EPL 6200 is a ‘High performance A4 mono professional printer’ or so say Epson. Never being afraid to give new technology a go I jumped upon the opportunity to play with this rather large and bulky laser printer. My father is a dentist and he needed a hard wearing, cheap printer to print leaflets, booklets and all manner of other things you generally find information upon.
For a hard wearing and a (long term) cheap printer ... ...it gave the impression that Epson did not have to put much effort into the design of the packaging, a little flicker in my mind hoped that the money saved from the packaging would have been placed back into the printer. Anxious to play with this big, black box I kept glancing over my seat until we arrived home.
Taking the printer out of the box was simple enough, open the slots, remove polystyrene bound printer and your away! The printer came with ...

EPSON EPL6200-A tough competitor in laser printing
Review of Epson EPL 6200 by
gusgusrule
Advantages: Fast, excellent quality, relatively cheap to buy
Disadvantages: Bland design, high cost of consumables
I'm quite fond of Epson laser printers, for me they represent good quality and speed at phenomenally low prices. My first Epson laser printer was the EPL 5700L, but things have moved on since then. That was a bog standard, 8 pages per minute printer, but it didn't stop me being impressed, you can read my earlier review on this printer in my archive. But I knew my EPL 5700 wasn't going to last forever, and when I found out it needed its toner replacing ... ...-----------------
Why Epson?
-----------------
Epson for me represent a market leader in the printing industry, they compete with companies such as HP, Canon and Lexmark. But what I like about Epson inparticular is that they are specialists in their field, instead of companies like HP which have diversified to some extent and now make computers, Epson have stuck to what they're good at, making printers and scanners and other imaging products. ...

The EPL 6200N, A Monochrome MONSTER
Review of Epson EPL 6200N by
Credance100
Advantages: Highly industrial, capable of printing off at amazing speeds. Low noises. Is aesthetically pleasing.
Disadvantages: Slightly pricy. Few extra features.
...department recently purchased this, the Epson EPL 6200N, a laser printed designed for medium sized workgroups within any office or school.
With the latest set of A - Level exams just a few months away, and with several sheets worth of information needing printing, I had the oppurtunity to test the EPL 6200N out...
The Printer
A quick query to the librarian told me the printer cost about 270 pounds inc. VAT, though unfortunately I cannot quote ... ...Pretty much your bog standard Epson manual.
Its a quintessential modern printer, easily compatable with Windows 9X/ME/2000/XP aswell as Apple Macitosh 8.1 or later, our computers were running Windows 2000, which worked extremely well with the printer, displaying useful info about printer progress, more on this later.
The printer looks similar to any workplace laser model, boxlike, curvy, and yet mildly aesthetically pleasing in its own...frankly ...

Entry level office printer with upgrade options
Review of HP LaserJet 4250 by
netgekko
Advantages: Will grow with you and last for years
Disadvantages: No network card or duplex
This is a great workhorse printer from H.P. its fast with clear, crisp print results.
This machine has a small footprint so if space is at a premium in your office but the workload is high, this might be the printer for you. Hewlett Packard make good reliable printers in general and if the LJ4250 develops any faults H.P. parts are cheaper and more easily available than most.
It only has one paper tray, however the front cover pulls down to allow ... ...opportunity to have two different types off paper loaded and ready to print.
There is one fault I am aware of with this machine relating to the duplex unit, if you expect to add a duplex later and do a lot of double sided printing, it has a habit of becoming a bit noisy; there is a cog that wears under the extra load caused by the duplex. However this is very minor and can be fixed easily.
This is a good solid printer and I would recommend to anyone. ...
