great for pro photographers
Review of Epson Stylus Pro 3800 by pressphotography

Advantages: Professional A2 printing for under £1000.
Disadvantages: Large size, but not compared to other A2 printers

...smaller Epson printers which often only contain about 8ml of ink. If you are doing a lot of printing the Epson pro 4800 might be a better choice with it's larger 240ml cartridges and the ability to use roll paper. All in this is a great printer . ... Read review

HP Color LaserJet CP4005dn Printer
Review of HP Color LaserJet CP4005dn by caroline9

Advantages: Fast Printing (if not Adobe), Toner Level Display, Good Quality Print
Disadvantages: It's Too Big, Doesn't Duplex Properly, It's Too Big, Noisy, oh yes - It's Too Big!

...had to go on the HP website to download the correct drivers. We then set everyone up on the network whilst deciding on a name for it - first it was the Tardis (which was discarded as that is supposed to be small on the outside, big on the inside and this thing was just plain big), then it was dusty bin (which was an insult to Dusty in my opinion) and we finally decided on R2-D2 because of all the strange noises, whistles and beeps it makes when it ...
...that wouldn't be fair to HP who are usually much better in their printer creation (my home HP 2610 confirms that) - you may genuinely have one of the decent ones out there (if so, congratulations wish we had it). My boss, though, is a very proud man and won't admit he's made a mistake and take it back whilst it is still under guarantee (personally, I think the reason it was out of stock was not because it was in demand, but because they never thought ... Advantages: Hewlett Packard reliability
Disadvantages: Gets noisy when its old, but this can be sorted !!

...be fixed easily. The HP laserjet 4250TN is retailing for around £900.00 at the moment and IV seen them as low as £600.00. Remember if you're buying second hand, or a reconditioned unit, make sure you get a configuration and consumables status page printed off the machine. These will tell you the amount of pages the unit has printed, error messages, life expectancy of the consumable parts and the level of Toner remaining. Toner for this printer ... Read review

A printer good for home use
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by Sweetpea1075

Advantages: Inexpensive, Nice design, modern looking, OK for everyday use
Disadvantages: Noisy, takes ages to start up, goes through ink quickly

...had broken. I have a Canon camera and know that Canon is a good well know brand. It also looks nice and modern and has a nice shiny black finish. For the jobs that I want it to do at the moment, it performs well, although I am hoping to print out some large photo prints in the near future, so will be upgrading. For standard photos and written documents, it does the job nicely, although some of the colours on the photos did not come out the same ...
...the printer itself, as my PC may not be set up correctly. The disadvantage is the amount of ink it uses. I have never used so much over the last few months, especially if you are printing out photos - it is not a cheap option. Much cheaper to get them done at processing lab or online. The ink is not cheap for this printer either, compared with other similar printers. Although I have found that even when it says it is empty, there is still actually ... Read review
