The price was cheap. The design of the paper tray is good. This is the first printer I've had where the paper is not either dropped to the floor (my printer is on a shelf) or sucked back into the roller (Cannon) causing a jam. It had a sturdy feel. The set up instructions were inadequate and unnerving with bits of tape which I wasn't sure if I had to pull off or not before using. ...The great thing about epson printers are that you have so many different options. There are about 20 different paper/card options. One of my favourite features is that you can print on different size paper this is great as you can print 6 by 4 photos and you can print onto envelopes You can lessen the quality and improve the speed or vice veresa. Advantages: Photo quality is amazing and it is very speedy
Disadvantages: LCD screen could do with being a slight bit bigger

...my printer at home my Epson c66 broke and so i happily took this one back from work. The machine takes 6 cartridges black, magenta, cyan , yellow, light cyan and light magenta. The 'light' cartridges are what give the photos that extra quality compared to using just the 4 usual ones. The cartridges are also not very expensive compared to that of Lexmark and HP and although there are 6 you use less magenta and cyan than usual as they are coming from ...
...appropriate paper, i recommend the epson premium glossy photo paper which you can get in A4 or 4 x 6. The machine also has a tray you can insert so you can print directly on to CD's and DVD's which is extremely handy. You have to buy particular CD's and DVD's whci hare printable but this are not really any expensive than normal ones.
