Dymo Labelwriter 320
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 320 by Debiuk

Advantages: No ink or toner and very low maintence
Disadvantages: Does not print in colour

...you want to use genuine Dymo or compatiable labels. Printing is quick and a bit noisy but nothing to disturbing. I have found the Dymo Customer Services extremely easy to deal with and very helpful with complete followup from the staff. Any problem resolved quickly and in a professional manner. All in all, I highly recommend this item and should it have to be replaced, I would definitely purchase another. ... Read review

My friend called Dymo!
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo by nuttynaomi

Advantages: Fast, Looks neat and sexy like me!!!!
Disadvantages: only black and white.

The Dymo Label Writer 330 Turbo. ---------------------- At the beginning:- ---------------------- The reason my company bought this label printer was that my computer is new to the office and I therefore had no 'creature comforts' that the other girls have got on their computers and desks. All the other computers have Seiko label printers, however we have 3 of them already and they are expensive to run and the print quality is only OK. So I managed ...
...catch..surely. …Nope!! I opened the Dymo Label program, in installation it adds a button on your desk-top and in the Start menu for you. Then it shows a little box for registration. Again this is very simple. All you have to do is put your name, business address (if it's a business registration) and the code from the bottom of the little printer. As we are on the net, registration is done for you over the net. But if you don't have a net connection, ... Read review

Label me, baby...
Review of Brother P-Touch 65 by Torombolina

Advantages: Small, easy, Prints look nice
Disadvantages: Maybe the price

...my newest labeling system, the brother P-Touch (PT-65) 65. I bought it in Germany for about 30 Euro (40 Dollars, I do not know the currency rate into GBP). The labels produced by this system are very clear on its paper/label. You certainly want to know how to print and produce the label, don't you? Ok, here comes the answer: First of all, you must unsert six AA alkaline batteries in the back of the machine. After that you may want to insert the ...
...Afterwards, you may turn on the PT65 by pressing the ON/OFF button on the front of the machine. Now you can enter a text with a maximum of 55 characters and when finished you just press PRINT and the label is being printed. To cut off the printed label, simply press the violet botton on the left hand side of the machine. Furthermore, you may want to peel off the back of the label. The machine can produce labels in the following ways: in CAPS, with ... Read review

A printer good for home use
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by Sweetpea1075

Advantages: Inexpensive, Nice design, modern looking, OK for everyday use
Disadvantages: Noisy, takes ages to start up, goes through ink quickly

...had broken. I have a Canon camera and know that Canon is a good well know brand. It also looks nice and modern and has a nice shiny black finish. For the jobs that I want it to do at the moment, it performs well, although I am hoping to print out some large photo prints in the near future, so will be upgrading. For standard photos and written documents, it does the job nicely, although some of the colours on the photos did not come out the same ...
...the printer itself, as my PC may not be set up correctly. The disadvantage is the amount of ink it uses. I have never used so much over the last few months, especially if you are printing out photos - it is not a cheap option. Much cheaper to get them done at processing lab or online. The ink is not cheap for this printer either, compared with other similar printers. Although I have found that even when it says it is empty, there is still actually ... Read review

A good printer with added "bits"
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R300 by Carrotts73

Advantages: good print quality, cheap copy cartridges, stand alone if needed
Disadvantages: none really

The Epson R300 is a good low cost Photo Printer. It has lots of useful features, for instance you can print direct from a camera, or pop a memory card into the reader on the front. If you're connected to a PC then it can use the memory card reader as well. It is also possible to attach a Bluetooth module and print direct from a camera phone, but I've not tried this. You can buy a colour LCD for it so that you can preview pictures before you print ...
...and it can knock 6x4 prints out in a minute or so. It also has the capability of printing direct onto white coated CD/DVDs if you want to make your Disks look smart! I get my ink from eBay, and this does not seem to massively affect the quality of printouts but is much cheaper. The set up is very straightforward. The printer has a little LCD screen that gives out status messages and other information, so it is worth remembering this before you ... Read review
