I bought my Panasonic Printer because at the time it was the Editors Choice of the PCW magazine. I am a regular read of the magazine, and it hasn't told me any bad advice, so I went ahead and bought it. ...all that said, the printer is quite good, text prinouts are first rate, print speed is a decent 6ppm, and unlike my Lexmark Inkjet, it can hold the same amount of paper in the output tray, as the input tray. Not even my previous Texas Intruments Laser Printer had that. Toner is cheap at £14 from PC world, and it lasts for 2100 pages! This a worthwhile printer for those who are space concious. ... ...the printer itself, as my PC may not be set up correctly. The disadvantage is the amount of ink it uses. I have never used so much over the last few months,especially if you are printing out photos - it is not a cheap option. Much cheaper to get them done at processing lab or online. The Epson R300 is a good low cost Photo Printer. It has lots of useful features, for instance you can print direct from a camera, or pop a memory card into the reader on the front. If you're connected to a PC then it can use the memory card reader as well. It is also possible to attach a Bluetooth module and print direct from a camera phone, but I've not tried this. You can buy a colour LCD for it so that you can preview pictures before you print ...
