Value for money and a real work horse
Review of Samsung ML 2010 by
thermalnermal
Advantages: Refillable toner cartridges, economy ink setting
Disadvantages: slightly noisy, takes a while to warm up
We have been using a Samsung ML1510 for club printing for approximately five years. That printer is still going strong and is now with the current club secretary. So judging by that experience I decided to buy a ML2010 as I anticipate a lot of printing for my research project. It was excellent value for money. I bought it from Ebuyer; I ordered it online at 4.30pm and the printer had arrived by 8.30am the next morning. The main advantage of Samsung ... ...refill, saving the extortionate amount for a new cartridge every time. The afore mentioned ML1510 has run on refills the whole time making it extremely economical to run. Although this printer does not have an automatic duplex function (would you really expect it at the price) it is quite easy to duplex manually using the printer dialogue on the pc. ...

Colour That Doesnt Run
Review of Samsung CLP-300 by
grovej
Advantages: Good Price, Small Package
Disadvantages: Small paper tray and no manual feed
...one weekend and spotted the Samsung CLP-300 for what I considered a reasonable price £150, so I picked one up.
-----------The Specification-----------
The CLP-300 claims to be the world's smallest and lightest colour laser printer! I am not sure if this claim is correct but the printer does come in a small package measuring in at 390 x 344 x 265 mm, this is very useful if you want to put it on the end of a desk, compared to the HP Colour LaserJet ... ...are reasonably accurate.
The Samsung uses four cartridges to provide the colours a dedicated black which will cover around 2,000 A4 pages at 5% coverage the Yellow/Magenta/Cyan cartridges are smaller and will cover 1,000 pages of A4 at 5% coverage. The waste toner is captured in separate container that has to be replaced when full and the image drum is also separate which leads to lower cost cartridges.
The printer has a paper tray with a capacity ...

Pleasantly Surprised
Review of Samsung CLP 300N by
daftks
Advantages: Price, Simple change of toners
Disadvantages: Relatively slow print speeds, Toner costs
...I am not the greatest Samsung fan after my little episode with its P10 laptop, but here is my story for this.
Being a graphic design student, I needed a printer that would print out designs on just about any sort of paper quickly and beautifully. I'm glad that CLP-300 didn't disappoint me...not yet anyway.
Being the world's smallest colour laser printer, and winning ... ...can be used for this, Samsung also offers a Download Centre that has user manuals, printer drivers, software and more, those annoying hold-the-line MIDI music can be halted for the mean time.
Overall, if you want relatively good prints for a bargain price printer, this is the one for you, otherwise, I'd advise to pay more.
Below is just some specifications from Samsung if you would like to know some technical aspects of this printer:
Speed(B/W): Up ...

Be IN - have ML-1630!
Review of Samsung ML-1630 by
hauran
Advantages: Excellent design, fast and cheap expenses
Disadvantages: Expensive to buy, prints only common pages
...is due to its design. Samsung ML-1630 has got an excellent design so it is a nice device to have on your table. It is black and on the top side has got glare surface - that is good for design but you have to clean it often. This printer is also very small - its height is only 12 cm. There are fascinating buttons with blue backlight and most interesant is a bar of diodes 13x5 which displays various informations and
makes various effects as well. ... ...various sounds like an older mobile phone. The only bad thing is that i was not able to find where to switch this feature off, but they arent loud. Buttons are all touch activable so you only touch button and dont press to switch it.
I found a bad thing anout this device - it is not possible to print something not standard - envelopes, stickers and so on!
Inserting toner is very easy and you will have no difficulties with it - you just put toner ...
