The reliable HP LaserJet 4250dtn
Review of HP LaserJet 4250dtn by

Advantages: Networkable double sided printing with a small footprint
Disadvantages: There isnt one, I like this printer.
This is a great workhorse printer from H.P. its fast with clear, crisp print results, the extra paper tray is useful for having plain and letter headed paper ready to print, or even different sizes.
Easily networkable, and the duplex is fast without paper jams which seems to happen often on other machines I've used.
This machine has a small footprint so if space is at a premium in your office but the workload is high, this might be the printer ... ...and if the LJ4250dtn develops any faults H.P. parts are cheaper and more easily available than most.
There is one fault I am aware of with this machine relating to the duplex unit, if you expect to do a lot of double sided printing, it has a habit of becoming a bit noisy; there is a cog that wears under the extra load caused by the duplex. However this is very minor and can be fixed easily.
Having said that I really rate this printer, and would ...

Review of HP LaserJet 9050n by

Advantages: It prints fast
Disadvantages: Too little space to mention
...the naughty corner.
This HP Laserjet 9050n does print well though, I have no complaints about it but needs a patient owner and in a busy office not everyone has the time for its tantrums.
This machine does not come cheap, by browsing over the internet a website called www.printerland.co.uk is charging the beauty of £2,005.78!!! A cartridge for it costs £134.59!! Of course HP is a reputable brand but for the problems it gives I feel it is definitely ...

High volume printing at its best
Review of HP LaserJet 9050dn by
kenhutchings1979
Advantages: Speed, High Capacity
Disadvantages: Cost of consumeables, Size, Client Software must be installed on all machines
...in minutes. Technical support from HP is informitive and they are quick to help you find a resolution. Moving the printer or finding space for it can be a problem - this is by no means a desktop machine - it demands a space of its own (quite rightly). Its price tag can make it hard to justify but if you have a high volume of work for it - it quickly excels itself and stands out from its cheaper rivals.
The speed claimed by the manufacturer for A4 ...

Advantages: Hewlett Packard reliability
Disadvantages: Gets noisy when its old, but this can be sorted !!
...be fixed easily.
The HP laserjet 4250TN is retailing for around £900.00 at the moment and IV seen them as low as £600.00.
Remember if you're buying second hand, or a reconditioned unit, make sure you get a configuration and consumables status page printed off the machine. These will tell you the amount of pages the unit has printed, error messages, life expectancy of the consumable parts and the level of Toner remaining.
