The thing in my mind that makes this printer stick out to me in my mind is the fact that the driver software on the computer is brill it allows you to choose what type of printing you will be doing for example if you are just going to be printing a page of a website you would just selete general everyday printing. This is a very good products with both pros and cons. The design structure of the printer is very aesthetic and eyecatching. The presence of a five in one card reader is of great assistance. Not only in the process of printing straight out of the memory chip but also in connecting such memory chips to the computer. As the name suggests this printer is primarily designed for the use as a photo printer and it does its job absolutely well. The print ... ...as well. A lot of ink is wasted during the printing process and the cost of the cartridges are very and refilling is equally expensive. The capacity of the basic cartridges that come with the printer is very limited. Another issue common to most inkjet printers is that the ink solidifies when the printer is not used commonly. But I'd clearly recommend this product to anyone who wishes for a worthy colour printer. ...

...make them work. Using the HP driver site is a doddle and the plotter is up and running in no time at all.
Using the correct driver, printing is instant and you can have a mono A1 plan printed in under a minute.
Printing graphics and photos is slightly different. I'd recommend using an application such as PosterJet RIP which will spool directly to the plotter and make printing much easier than using the normal print dialogue - where sometimes the ... ...deadlines with an unreliable plotter. HP really have come up trumps here with the 1055cm and while there are some smaller HP printers that I wouldn't touch with a barge pole (business inkjet 2600 especially), HP are renowned for their sucess in producing quality plotters. The 1055cm is no exception.
