Small businesses with this service ethos?
Review of Canon Business Inkjet BIJ-1300 by Kaisersousa

Advantages: Says what it does on the box - cheapish to run
Disadvantages: Canon After sales service for small businesses

...concerned me. Whilst checking out Canon I came across this model and on paper was quite impressed - an inkjet (bubble jet) that could theoretically do what we needed at a much cheaper cost to run than a colour laser printer. So impressed was I that I bought two (2) of these printers, albeit one was a demo model with no printer head or any ink cartridges (I bought this latter one at a very discounted price) Pros: I must say that with the printer ...
...the cons: (1) Original Canon ink tank cartridge consumables for the BIJ 1300 are overpriced and extremely expensive. In fact a set of these (4 colours) will cost you nearly as much as the printer (£36 for black, £30 for each colour =£148 incl VAT + delivery) . (2) They are extremely hard to find and Canon's website doesn't help in many ways. You will find it difficulty, near impossible to get it with UK online sellers, only via Canon itself (3) ... Good Compact Printer
Review of HP Deskjet 6127 by ray52

Advantages: Excellent print quality. Easy to use. Duplex system.
Disadvantages: None for me

...my computer. This is the HP Deskjet 6127 Colour Inkjet Printer. The printer itself uses both black and colour ink (as the name of the printer implies anyway). This, I find, is ideal for the type of printing I do. This includes letters and various spreadsheets and all kind of reports. One of the reasons why I like this printer is that it has separate ink tanks for black and coloured inks. These tanks are very easy to install and de-install, in my ...
...manager told me that the HP Deskjet 6127 Colour Inkjet Printer was very easy to set up using the CD and following the on-screen instructions. Loading the paper is, again in my opinion a very simple operation. To place up to 150 A4 sheets of 80 gram white paper all I have to do is lift the out-feed paper tray cover up and slot the paper into the in-tray. As you look at the printer from the front there is a moveable paper guide at the left-hand side ... Read review

HP PhotoSmart Pro B9180
Review of HP PhotoSmart Pro B9180 by my_user

Advantages: Printer quality will lost for many many years
Disadvantages: please check my Drawbacks list with this printer:

I had brought this printer particularly to print my beautiful photos. Based on my experience the photos quality is simply superb. I have stuck few A3 size (bigger scenery photos) photos on my room walls without any laminations, already few months ago and I'm cleaning dust with cloth once in a while but still the photo print quality is very good, not seen even small shading on the print. I never had seen this kind of print quality in my life time. ...
...Drawbacks with this printer: • It takes hell a lot of time to initialize the printer (minimum 15 to 20 minutes) by this time your 5 to 10% of ink cartridge will become empty. • It consumes too much of ink and ink bags are sky high price. • After a few months the whole printer with full of aerosol ( full of ink) • Printing time is very very….slow • Very bad paper skew happens once in a while (particularly when you print ... A good photo printer
Review of HP PhotoSmart 7260 by hnilesp

Advantages: Good quality, elegant, fast
Disadvantages: expesive maintenance

This is a very good products with both pros and cons. The design structure of the printer is very aesthetic and eyecatching. The presence of a five in one card reader is of great assistance. Not only in the process of printing straight out of the memory chip but also in connecting such memory chips to the computer. As the name suggests this printer is primarily designed for the use as a photo printer and it does its job absolutely well. The print ...
...as well. A lot of ink is wasted during the printing process and the cost of the cartridges are very and refilling is equally expensive. The capacity of the basic cartridges that come with the printer is very limited. Another issue common to most inkjet printers is that the ink solidifies when the printer is not used commonly. But I'd clearly recommend this product to anyone who wishes for a worthy colour printer. ... Read review
