Great Small Printer
Review of Lexmark Z 13 Color Jetprinter by iancozens12

Advantages: Small
Disadvantages: only one cartridge at a time

I bought my Z13 at a car boot for only £5 - a real bargain, as it also came with a colour ink cartridge, not used. I got it home and put it in the small space available and it fitted perfectly. It looks really neat and tidy if you fold it all up and can be hidden away in a corner or on a shelf, It is compatible with all the computers I have owned. It connects using USB. The worst thing about this printer as it only has one ink cartridge which means ...
...ink. There are 4 compatible cartridges for this printer, 17,27,16,26. SOFTWARE The software was well set out and very easy to use, and has a lot of functions and the help system is great. and I was impressed as I have had problems with all other USB printers I have owned. It was fast enough for me and it printed photos overall I am very impressed with it and the print cartridge is still going and i have had it 3 months. ... Read review

Soon to be gone but never forgotten!
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R300 by thebigc1690

Advantages: A quiet, easy to use, very good quality photo printer.
Disadvantages: Has now been super-seeded.

The Epson photo R300 printer has been made redundant by Epson so I am writing this review as a mark of respect to a once great machine but also to let anyone looking for a good photo printer know that there are still some of these going around at now great prices. The Epson R300 was one of the first of its kind, a photo printer that could print straight from the memory card so no need for a PC or laptop, simply slip your memory card into the appropriate ...
...software that comes with the Epson R300 and take your printing to another level. What most people were asking was "could this printer really print lab quality photos"? Well the answer to that is no it cannot but it can come very close if you use good enough glossy paper and the genuine Epson ink cartridges. As a pro photographer I would never have considered offering my customers prints that I had done on this printer but it did come in very useful ... Read review

For your occasional use
Review of HP LaserJet P1006 by prattt69

Advantages: easy installation,fast 18-20ppm speed
Disadvantages: use occasionally

...certainly has great compact lines. HP kept the getting started guide on the driver cd given. But you can check other option like animated installation video which guide you through all the steps of installation, and it takes pause for you to read out the instruction well so there is no chance of getting lost.To quick start install the software and connect the USB cable. HP quotes up to 16ppm for A4 pages, but my experience with results into more faster ...
...is obviously designed for quite rare and occasional use, as you can only see its impressively discreet features when the input and output trays folded closed. The input tray folds up on the front of the printer and the output tray folds over its top. There's no cover to protect the 100+ sheets of paper in the input tray, which can catch dust and other particles . ... Read review

Hp deskjet 1280
Review of HP Deskjet 1280 by anurag440044

Advantages: Effecient, fast, durable
Disadvantages: none found yet

I have been using Hp deskjet 1280 for around more than a year now almost {i think}. The only time when my product wasn't working was during the service time of the printer, that too lasted only for an hour. Believe me, the printer is very very versatile. The maximum size of printer paper that can be put is universal A3 size. The printing quality is very crisp and the color quality is just too good. The printer gives out color prints in almost less ...
...pretty cheap which comes at around 2000 rupees that is around 42$. The servicing of the printer takes very less time and the printer has a warranty of around a year. The overall efficiency of the printer is too good and the printer works almost on everything, ranging from networks to usb cords, without any glitches. ... Read review

Epson Stylus Photo R2880
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R2880 by Tams121

Advantages: Prints high quality photos, small
Disadvantages: hard to replace cartridges, and expensive to replace

This product i believe is the best printer i have found on the market. The colour quality is close to perfect with the colour cartridges being easily replaceable. It also prints at a reasonable speed and as far as i am concerned there have been no blocks so far. However the colour are reasonably expensive, but on the up side they last a sufficient amount of time. The printer is attractive and does not take up too much room. It can also print true ...
