Possible Design Fault - Don't Buy It!!!
Review of HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn by MissPrim

Advantages: cost effective, high volume printing for small office
Disadvantages: Problem when trying to print double sided (duplexing)

Unfortunately, the HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn printer features looked good on the website and I fell for it! I ordered 2 HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn printers for work. After setting up the first one, and testing it, it kept chewing up the paper as the print carriage was catching it when using double sided printing (duplexing), so sent it back and got a replacement. The second one seemed to work fine except for the odd chewing of paper when double sided, ...
...so sent this back also. The first replacement worked fine for the most part for about 4 weeks and then starting chewing again so sent it back with the second replacement which I didn't bother taking out of the box. This is why I would not recommend this printer at all. ... Read review

Great performance from a well built machine

Advantages: Good quality printing, looks great, great connectivity
Disadvantages: Slow wireless, bulky

...get this level of quality, HP have had to compromise on size and weight. A hefty 6.4kg, and measuring 36.7 cm deep means most people will have to take advantage of the wireless capabilities and place it away from their computer. HP have done well offering a wide range of connectivity options - WiFi, USB and ethernet results in a printer that can be used in both homes and businesses. ...if you shop around for HP ink you can find some bargains. At this point I must mention the slow wireless connection times I notice when printing. After sending the print job, it can take up to 20 seconds for the 6980 to begin printing (802.11G standard wireless).
