I was printing one black and white sheet of guitar tablature. There was not a lot of printing to be done and i expected it to be out by the time reached the printer. This, however, was not the case. It didn't take too long but for what i was printing i thought it was a while. (It took around 40 seconds). ... ...plain sheet, but from past experience i know it can print in very good quality. A full colour sheet will come out in great detail and it can print photographs in great detail too. The only thing i will say was that it was a little smudged. Whether that was me or not i am not sure. It cost me 5p for a black and white sheet, although this was through the school. The real cost is listed below. Unfortunately, the HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn printer features looked good on the website and I fell for it!
I ordered 2 HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn printers for work. After setting up the first one, and testing it, it kept chewing up the paper as the print carriage was catching it when using double sided printing (duplexing), so sent it back and got a replacement.
The second one seemed to work fine except for the odd chewing of paper when double sided, ... ...so sent this back also.
The first replacement worked fine for the most part for about 4 weeks and then starting chewing again so sent it back with the second replacement which I didn't bother taking out of the box.
This is why I would not recommend this printer at all. ...
