I had brought this printer particularly to print my beautiful photos. Based on my experience the photos quality is simply superb. I have stuck few A3 size (bigger scenery photos) photos on my room walls without any laminations, already few months ago and I'm cleaning dust with cloth once in a while but still the photo print quality is very good, not seen even small shading on the print. I never had seen this kind of print quality in my life time. ...

...just have one cartridge for both, as i personally use a lot more black than colour, so i only have to replace whichever one is needed as opposed to the whole cartridge, when there may still be colour ink left in it. I have found this not to be true in my situation. The problem is when you have to change the chip over from one cartridge to another.
