Well, it works.......
Review of Xerox DocuPrint C8 by duck1979

Advantages: Individual ink tanks, does the job (eventually)
Disadvantages: makes plenty of cock-ups, expensive if the printhead goes caput

Sometime around either October or November 2000 I obtained one of these in Curry's in Scarborough for about £50 and been using it on & off ever since. Installing it was a fairly simple matter of following the instructions and plugging one cable into the electrical socket, and the other into the back of my Iomega Zip drive. It can be slightly noisey, and on numberous occasions caused me to jump a bit when it suddenly decides to do a print cycle. ...
...too badly, but shortly after I've ever since had to resort to sticking the sheets in one at a time to stop it taking the entire bloody lot with it, and printing onto several sheets at the same time. I also discovered if one of the Ink tanks (which each hold about 25ml of ink) runs out, then it refuses to print even if you don't need to use that particular colour.... like if the Cyan (blue) ink tank runs out, but it wouldn't matter because the document ... Microsoft, Xerox please be friends.
Review of Xerox DocuPrint M750 by tjge

Advantages: Separate colour cartridges, Fast, Express Option.
Disadvantages: Incompatible Windows XP Driver.

I purchased the Xerox M750 about in April 2002 and at the time had a personal computer running windows ME. The reason for the buy was the price (at the time £45) and the fact that it had a 1200x1200 best photo resolution. Under Windows ME I was incredibly happy with the printer the driver that comes with the printer has a preferences and status monitor that not only gives you complete control of everything from colour and contrast to page layout ...
...option. I then contacted Xerox who told me that they had had many complaints about this driver, but, that there was no love lost between Xerox and Microsoft and that there would not be an update to the software. This has left me no choice but to get another printer!!!!!? People have asked me to add a little more information about the printer so here are a few statistics and numbers :-) The printer runs from both USB and parallel measures 18.5" ... Read review

My First Xerox.
Review of Xerox DocuPrint M760 by Michael151256

Advantages: Separate colour reservoirs, good instructions
Disadvantages: No cables

The Xerox m760 came with my new pc and I expected it to be tacky, cheap, and cheerful but basically not very good. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is an excellent piece of printing machinery. Easy to setup and install, easy to use. As usual there were no cables, these have to be bought separately, but the machine can be connected to either a printer port on your pc or by USB. Drivers were already available through Windows XP so I didn't ...
...unlike many older printers which have only one cartridge for all three colours. This prevents wastage of ink when only one colour is depleted but the whole cartridge has to be replaced on older machines. This makes the Xerox 760 cheaper to run than many older printers. Well done Xerox. ... Read review

A3 - Cheap but at a price
Review of Xerox DocuPrint NC20 by leematthews

Advantages: Cheap, great mono output
Disadvantages: Bad colour output - tempermental

For an A3 printer, the Xerox C20 doesn’t come at a bad price – if you want to print text. Warning: DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER IF YOU ARE A GRAPHICS ENTHUSIAST – the printer only seems to print file under 1Mb, and even then it is selective. At under £150, this printer is the cheapest A3 on the market – although this is obviously reflected in the above, and in the colour print quality. The pictures printed out, even at 1200dpi ...
...However, the black printing that this printer produces is outstanding – and very quick. The text is laser sharp on 600dpi and even better on 1200dpi – you cannot go far wrong. This printer has many opportunities for expansion, with extra paper trays, cartridges and hard drives available. Also another word of warning, the ink is not smudge proof for about 2 years, so if your document is going to be handled a lot, laminate it!! ... Read review
