Review of Canon PIXMA IP90 by
GWJ270967
Advantages: comact, stylish, good brand reputation
Disadvantages: infa red slow, is heavy when used with battery
...to buy an old canon bjc 80 or the likes.
I then went onto ebay and searched for a portable printer, you can imagine all the junk that came up and then I saw it, the Canon Pixma IP90, looking very stylish, so like everything else I buy I searched the internet for information on it, and all the reviews I found were positive, albeit the printer was a bit pricey at £199 but I was not swayed and and kept hunting for the best price, in the end I bought ... ...for the pair for original canon but you can get generic replacements for a fraction of the cost, I personally use the original ones, but again I don't print hundreds of pages, just the average family use so it doesn't hurt me when I have to replace them.
The print quality is really good from a compact ink jet printer, good enough to print decent charts, documents and even photos.
The canon boasts print speeds of upto 16 pages per minute, this must ...

A good portable solution
Review of Canon i 80 by
flooda
Advantages: Lightweight. Good print quality for both text and photos.
Disadvantages: A bit expensive.
...well pleased with the new Canon i80 portable jet printer that my company supplied me with a few months ago. It’s about half the weight (2.2kg) of its competitors, and this includes a spare battery pack. So while it’s not exactly lightweight it’s easy enough to carry.
The top cover of the printer doubles up as a paper stand when you’re using it, and you can load in about a dozen sheets of paper at a time. It copes admirably with both plain text and ... ...standard A4 black text page, and about a minute for a high- resolution photograph. The maximum resolution for photographs is 4800x1200 dots per inch (dpi) that gives you pictures that are perfectly clear and crisp. The battery takes about 2 hours to charge fully, and is good for printing 400 black text pages before it starts to complain. I also have the power unit for use in the car that allows me to power the printer or charge the battery using ...

Great Digital Camera Companion
Review of HP PhotoSmart 130 by
Snowflake1976
Advantages: Fantastic Print Quality
Disadvantages: slow to print
...right in the box. HP Photo and Imaging software is also included.
The display on top is easy to use, you can select a range of photos you want to print from the memory card so you don’t have to print everything that is on it. If in doubt it comes with a very informative user manual which I found very easy to understand.
The printer has room for a variety of different memory cards, these being CompactFlash, SmartMedia, Sony Memory Stick, Secure ... ...• HP thermal inkjet • 300 color ink nozzles, 21 kHz maximum firing frequency. • HP Photoret III precision technology. • Up to 4800 x 1200-optimised dpi color printing on premium photo papers
• Universal Serial Bus (USB) for PC, Mac and direct-print enabled HP cameras. ...

Lexmark is very reliable
Review of Lexmark X3580 by
lulabell87
Advantages: wifi, screen
Disadvantages: 2 separate ink cartridges
...ago, i have always had lexmark printers, and i really liked the design of this one. It is an all in one, so a printer, scanner and copier, and the price ranges from around £30-50 which i think is reasonably good value for money. It takes two print cartridges, one black on colour, the numbers are 3 and 4 cartridges respectively, which are also fairly cheap. at between £13-18 depending on where you purchase them, I find the fact that it has separate ... ...just have one cartridge for both, as i personally use a lot more black than colour, so i only have to replace whichever one is needed as opposed to the whole cartridge, when there may still be colour ink left in it. It has an extendable tray which you can pull out while it is printing to catch the paper, and the buttons are easy to use. It was also very easy to install, with no major problems arising. It also has a good warning system of when the ...

Canon Pixma mp 460 - Fantastic all in one
Review of Canon Pixma MP460 by
panther23
Advantages: lcd display, durability, optional Bluetooth connection, qualitys, speed, design, functionality, rich software, reliability
Disadvantages: could be litle smaller

Canon has a number of standard, automatic cleaning procedures:
- standard cleaning eliminating unwanted smudges and lines in the print result
- Deep cleaning unclogging nozzles that can not be cleaned by regular cleaning
- Bottom plate cleaning which prevents paper smudges during printing
- Roller cleaning gives smoother paper feeding

It is about 3-5 times a week. The cost of new ink varies from capacity. There are different options available on a market. That is good as you can suit size to your budget or if printing a lot buy bigger ink. Black costs about £11 and colour £16. For me it is not expensive. Quality costs.
