Review of Canon LBP 1120 by C.Laslett

Advantages: Cheap, easy to use and install
Disadvantages: Doesn't seem to warn you when toner is low

...find the disk. Support from Canon (telephone) was excellent and the software can be downloaded online. There is no LCD screen but most functions can be dealt with through the pc-based monitor. I don't seem to have figured out a way of knowing when the toner is low though so make sure you have a spare on hand. I didn't and had to spend 3 days waiting for the mail-order toner to arrive! My local PCWorld doesn't stock the toner for this but it was ...
...all stock it). Prices range from £30-£50 a time so shop around. Each cartridge supposedly does around 4000 pages. When you switch the printer on, it doesn't take long (just a few secs) before it starts printing. A lovely funky blue light on the front lets you know it's switched on. The operation is plenty fast enough for me (10ppm) and it is reasonably quiet. The paper holder holds a reasonable amount of paper (at least 100 pgs) and you can choose ... Read review

should you buy the canon lasershot LBP3360
Review of Canon Laser Shot LBP 3360 by bimbobrown

Advantages: quick and efficiant
Disadvantages: not as eco-friendly as its made out

for anyone who prints textual pages and does not need colour then this is a quick and efficient way of printing. The basic resolution is 600x600 and the standard output was excellent and any letter of document produced on it should be quite acceptable for whatever required purpose. The unit has 64MB of internal memory and this is more than enough to give a full A4 graphic image in monochrome. One feature not yet mentioned is that it has a built ... Read review

Possible Design Fault - Don't Buy It!!!
Review of HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn by MissPrim

Advantages: cost effective, high volume printing for small office
Disadvantages: Problem when trying to print double sided (duplexing)

Unfortunately, the HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn printer features looked good on the website and I fell for it! I ordered 2 HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn printers for work. After setting up the first one, and testing it, it kept chewing up the paper as the print carriage was catching it when using double sided printing (duplexing), so sent it back and got a replacement. The second one seemed to work fine except for the odd chewing of paper when double sided, ...
...so sent this back also. The first replacement worked fine for the most part for about 4 weeks and then starting chewing again so sent it back with the second replacement which I didn't bother taking out of the box. This is why I would not recommend this printer at all. ... Read review

HP PhotoSmart Pro B9180
Review of HP PhotoSmart Pro B9180 by my_user

Advantages: Printer quality will lost for many many years
Disadvantages: please check my Drawbacks list with this printer:

I had brought this printer particularly to print my beautiful photos. Based on my experience the photos quality is simply superb. I have stuck few A3 size (bigger scenery photos) photos on my room walls without any laminations, already few months ago and I'm cleaning dust with cloth once in a while but still the photo print quality is very good, not seen even small shading on the print. I never had seen this kind of print quality in my life time. ...
...Drawbacks with this printer: • It takes hell a lot of time to initialize the printer (minimum 15 to 20 minutes) by this time your 5 to 10% of ink cartridge will become empty. • It consumes too much of ink and ink bags are sky high price. • After a few months the whole printer with full of aerosol ( full of ink) • Printing time is very very….slow • Very bad paper skew happens once in a while (particularly when you print ...
