Cheap to buy, costly to run
Review of Epson Stylus D92 by
EviUK
Advantages: Well designed body, smudge-resistant inks
Disadvantages: inaccurate ink gauge, ink dries up, can't clean cartridges individually
The price was cheap. The design of the paper tray is good. This is the first printer I've had where the paper is not either dropped to the floor (my printer is on a shelf) or sucked back into the roller (Cannon) causing a jam. It had a sturdy feel. The set up instructions were inadequate and unnerving with bits of tape which I wasn't sure if I had to pull off or not before using.
Although the ink was expensive, it boasted (and delivered) a reasonable ... ...a document printed on a Cannon!). I liked the idea of separate colour cartridges.
I found the print quality perfectly acceptable and used the printer's options to lower the saturation. Draft quality was too poor to be useful but because the printer allows you save a Print Profile, I could set up a suitable equivalent. This latter feature has been very useful - I could specify paper size and orientation. It would have been more useful if it could ...

family printer
Review of Epson Stylus D120 by
techno_man_37
Advantages: quality
Disadvantages: looks
This Epson printer looks like a quite poor quality family home printer. I don't mean its design as it actually looks quite cool. However just because its shape looks like all the other rubbish quality printers that came before. This printer however is really good quality, and Epson even boast it makes a sensible alternative to a laser printer in the home or office.
This printer shows you, that you can get the same quality and speed from an inkjet ... ...than a laser printer, infact a lot cheaper. you could buy on of these for around £50, where as a laser printer could cost anything up to £500 and might not even be as good quality. What I meant by this printer looks like any other, is that its got a simple body, a paper feeder at the top and a slot at the bottom, where you printed documents come out of. You can probably all imagined what this looks like already, its just your typical printer. The ...

What Would I Do Without This Printer!!!!
Review of Epson Stylus Color 880 by
lfc-4-ever
Advantages: Great quality prints, good speed, ink cartridges cheap
Disadvantages: None!!!!
...The great thing about epson printers are that you have so many different options. There are about 20 different paper/card options. One of my favourite features is that you can print on different size paper this is great as you can print 6 by 4 photos and you can print onto envelopes
You can lessen the quality and improve the speed or vice veresa. There is also photo enhance which I find very useful. There is an option to double side print. You can ... ...printer costs just over £100 pounds which might seem a lot but it is well worth it for it's quality and duribility.
Once again I think epson have done very well and made a brilliant printer. I would 100% recommend this printer and I give it 10/10. Thank You ...

Poor form from Epson
Review of Epson Stylus C62 by
MVP017
Advantages: Prints documents
Disadvantages: Speed and quality
What is it that youy want out of an inkjet printer? - something that prints good quality prints fairly quickly and doing this quietly. After buying this model for around £60, this is what i expected, even if it was not absolutely perfect, being relatively cheap.
It is a basic inkjet printer that connects to your computer via. a USB connection. There are 2 ink cartridge slots, one for colour and one for black and white. This is very simple but it ... ...600 pages and the colour should last for 300 pages. This is promising but its simplicity in design and features are real indicators of what i believe is a poor machine.
The first problem which i have found is that the print speed is extremely slow. Fow black & white the speed is meant to be 14 ppm (pages per minute) and for colour it is supposed to be 13.9 ppm. This is probarbly true if it printed continually but it always seems to stall mid way ...

Saved from the dump! A bargain!
Review of Epson Stylus Color 1160 by
victoriaelectra
Advantages: A3 printer for £2.50
Disadvantages: Needed a good scrub with a cream cleaner to get the grime off it.
...partner had previously owned the Epson 760 and before that another Epson. Doing Architecture at Plymouth he finds it hard to get access to their large printers and some College sites also charged for the service, so he had dreamt of owning one for a long time.
He has a bit of a recycling centre and skip fettish. He loves rummiging through rubbish and has always been able to pick up some real bargains. He has in the past got a TV stand, an LG flat ... ...back with a filthy A3 Epson Stylus Color 1160. It was wet and covered in ink because it was kept outside and had ink drip on it from other printers that were resting on top.
Now before I carry on I must tell you that most recycling centres have a strict policy of not selling electrical goods to the public. On that particular day I think that the recycling operative thought my partner was a mug, infact they laughed when he asked how much they wanted ...
