A great printer for the price
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE 5300 by
minibus10
Advantages: Cheaper ink cartridges
Disadvantages: none for me
I have recently purchased the Kodak Easy share 5300 to replace my Hp Photo smart, this was due to the rising costs in ink cartridges. The ink for this model cost a very reasonable £6.99 for black and £9.99 for colour.
This model is white with a pleasing silver trim and is not too bulky for the average household.
It has a 100 sheet main tray fot general printing and a 20 sheet (4x6) photo tray which you need to push in to change to photo printing. It ... ...resolution (4x6) photos in as little as 28 seconds. There is also the option of using this printer "wireless" via Bluetooth, this is an optional extra which I shall probably be purchasing the near future.
It also comes with a colour and black cartridge included and a paper sample pack, an easy to follow set up guide, printer software, power supply and adaptor.
My family and I have used the printer quite a lot already, My daughter is a budding photographer ...

Good budget machine
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock G610 by
huntressofthenight
Advantages: Speed, clarity on a budget
Disadvantages: It would be compact to store if not for the detachable and awkward paper tray...
It's sleek and black with that shiny texture that is so popular in today's TVs, I-pods, Freeveiw boxes etc. Admittedly, I am a sucker for these shiny black gadgets ( there's just something futuristic about them that I adore), and this printer is no exception. Keeping in mind that I am a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to technology - I will get the one that does what's necessary whithout spending all my worldy wealth (which isn't much, I can tell ... ...a camera in Currys which came with either a free printer or digital photoframe. Naturally I chose this printer - it has a higher retiail value, see :-)
Kodak, having the experience in cameras and all things photography, I find are superior to a lot of other reasonably priced photography equipment. By chance, my first digital camera was a Kodak, and I after seeing the dodogy lighting quality of some others, bought by my friends, I have stuck with ...

Quality Prints, Very Easy to Use
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Series 3 by
shonalaing80
Advantages: Easy to Use, Good Value for Money
Disadvantages: None
Have had the Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Series 3 printer for about 2 years and am absolutely deilighted with it. I have the camera which goes with it and by sitting the camera on the dock this allows me to charge the camera and download pictures onto my PC or print straight from the camera. Has a USB cable to connect to a PC and the paper and ink comes in a handy consumables pack which has both ink and the right amount of paper for the ink. THe ...

Kodak Easyshare Dock - DO NOT BUY
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Plus Series 3 by
martinspurr
Advantages: Not many; Fast print, Good quality photos
Disadvantages: LOTS; unable to recognise photos, paper won't feed, ink and paper expensive, software isn't intuitive.
...The dock only takes Kodak digital cameras models: CX 6000/7000, DX 6000/7000 and LS600/700.
The dock is meant to automatically recognise when the camera is connected and allow you to download your photos. However what normally happens is that the camera has to be attached and reattached and turned on and off until it works. Then when it is recognised it will begin to download to your PC, to the poorly designed software - the Kodak Easyshare center. ... ...are very expensive and ONLY Kodak brand paper will work in the printer.
Overall I would not recommend this printer, even though the odd time that it does work there is a fine print, 9 times out of 10 it s a struggle. You would be better to get a printer which prints documents and has options to print onto photo paper as I have one of these to be much better! ...

Kodak easyshare lives up to its name again
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock G600 by
sadoldbag
Advantages: So easy to use, quick, convenient, idiot proof for perfect results
Disadvantages: A bit pricy per print. 6 x 4 maximum print size.
...camera if you have a Kodak compatible camera as there is the dock that sits on top. If you have the right rechargeable battery the dock will act as battery charger too.
The kodak paper stores away neatly underneath although the tray is a bit fiddly to clip in place for printing, it is a neat storage solution. The ink for it is integral so when you buy a pack of 50 sheets of paper you get a cartridge which prints exactly 50 sheets of paper. Run out ... ...always buy paper and cartridge in a pack, so I don't have the problems I sometimes have with my ordinary printer where the inks run out at different times, so you get funny coloured pictures if one ink has gone.
Pics are professional quality and you can crop, rotate, remove red eye and alter picture size all using this dock, so again, no need to upload and photoshop if you are basically happy with your photo but just want to tweak it. All this makes ...
