great for pro photographers Advantages: Professional A2 printing for under £1000. Disadvantages: Large size, but not compared to other A2 printers ...smaller Epson printers which often only contain about 8ml of ink. If you are doing a lot of printing the Epson pro 4800 might be a better choice with it's larger 240ml cartridges and the ability to use roll paper. Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Advantages: very good Disadvantages: none In my opinion this is the perfect printer for enthusiasts of the picture, that try to combine a fantastic impression quality with an excellent value. And for small offices it is a tool very useful for professional presentations. Picture quality is excellent cause every photo or other document that I print on her stay with an excellent quality.I use my print at home mainly for print my favorite photos, I am realy very satisfect with the print quality ... ...print, I can't stay waiting minutes and minutes to have my prints.It is take some litle minutes to print. Epson Stylus Photo R280 Photo Printer review Advantages: PRINTING CD's AND DVD's Disadvantages: Poor paper handling--but see addendum ...cardstock. I went through the Epson website trouble shooting screens, and I discovered that the maximum paper weight it can handle is 24 pounds (that's the weight of fine office stationery). Cardstock is usually 50 or 60 pound weight. If I had discovered this earlier, I would have purchased a different printer. As it was, I think Epson made the specifications too vague, by specifying cardstock rather than the weight of usable paper. Addendum: In ... ...paper jam could be reduced by feeding sheets one at a time. I tried it, and the printer worked like a charm--smooth paper feeding and fast printing. The only drawback is that I must stand by the printer and feed each sheet of cardstock one at a time. I should mention that Epson, unlike many vendors, includes high-capacity ink cartridges in the box.
