Epson 480 - A dream come true
Review of Epson Stylus Color 480 by matman2uk

Advantages: Sleek, stylish and modern
Disadvantages: Slow printing

...a printer; it was the Epson colour stylus 480, I screamed with joy, I kissed the catalogue over and over; I had found my first love…..Ok, ok, maybe it’s a bit exaggerated, but you get the general idea. I’m not going to try and glorify this printer any more; it does that all by itself. The Epson stylus colour 480 may not run too fast, but boy does it have good quality printouts. As well as this it looks like something from heaven. As well as all ...
...32mb Ram and a 1Gb hard drive; and this baby ran off it like a dream. It was like a dream come true. Here is some information: It has seperate ink cartridges for black ink and colour ink, Its very easy to change the ink, The ink is cheap, it will not take cardboard, And it is very reliable. Overall I would say that the printer is good value for money, looks sleek, stylish and modern, and will run on just about anything you hook it up to. It ... Read review

Samsung ML4500 Brilliant!
Review of Samsung ML 4500 by Seton

Advantages: Cost, reliability, ease of use, top quality print, compact size
Disadvantages: It's a hard working, reliable Volvo, not a Jaguar

...I would always stick with Samsung and I might look for one that prints more copies per minute and possibly in colour simply because of the job that I do, but if there was nothing suitable I would be delighted to buy the exact same model and would happily pay three times what I did. The fact that you can now get this model for nearly half the price is amazing. If you want clever extras and fancy tricks it might not be the model for you, but if you ...
...a year at @ £40), extremely hard working and problem free, I'm very happy to recommend this printer. The quality of print is excellent (I create professional books, thesis, wedding invitations and high quality business documents.) with great sharpness on a range of different papers. I've never had any problem with it and you can literally take it out of the box and go. ... Read review

Review of Canon S 330 Photo by newb00ts

Advantages: Excellent print quality
Disadvantages: slightly flimsy

I had been relying on an old black and white printer for far too long. My girlfriend spotted this one and bought it and after hearing good things from her I purchased it from PC World for £69.99. ----Style---- I actually think the printer is quite good looking. It has a smoked perspex front which opens outwards to allow access to the two ink cartridges and the printer head and the paper adjustment lever. Unfortunately it still follows the rather ...
...all its not bad looking and perhaps most importantly it looks and feels solid and well built. Only two buttons are on the printer itself these are the power and cancel button situated on the top just behind the smoked perspex cover. The only problems with the design are the output and input tray which are particulary flimsy and make the printer rather larger once attached. Due to the limited space I have for this printer I don't bother with the output ... Read review

Decent cheap printer
Review of Canon i 320 by random76

Advantages: Cheap, good quality
Disadvantages: Quite noisy

I spent a fair amount of time researching printers before I bought this one just over a year ago and I am very satisfied with it. Mostly I use it for text only but I have printed out a short book of pictures with it (as a present) and it was good quality. I’m sure there are better printers, but they are far more expensive. The i320 is a good quality cheap printer. The ink cartridges are fairly cheap too, which is a bonus. I have been using Canon-compatible ...
...yet) without any trouble. It’s not a particularly quiet printer, but neither is it the noisiest I’ve heard. If it’s in your bedroom I wouldn’t leave it printing while you’re in bed, but apart from that it’s not too loud. My only real complaint is that it doesn't come with any kind of tray to catch the printed pages. Apart from that I'd recommend it without hesitation. ... Read review

Poor form from Epson
Review of Epson Stylus C62 by MVP017

Advantages: Prints documents
Disadvantages: Speed and quality

What is it that youy want out of an inkjet printer? - something that prints good quality prints fairly quickly and doing this quietly. After buying this model for around £60, this is what i expected, even if it was not absolutely perfect, being relatively cheap. It is a basic inkjet printer that connects to your computer via. a USB connection. There are 2 ink cartridge slots, one for colour and one for black and white. This is very simple but it ...
...600 pages and the colour should last for 300 pages. This is promising but its simplicity in design and features are real indicators of what i believe is a poor machine. The first problem which i have found is that the print speed is extremely slow. Fow black & white the speed is meant to be 14 ppm (pages per minute) and for colour it is supposed to be 13.9 ppm. This is probarbly true if it printed continually but it always seems to stall mid way ... Read review
