Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Advantages: very good Disadvantages: none In my opinion this is the perfect printer for enthusiasts of the picture, that try to combine a fantastic impression quality with an excellent value. And for small offices it is a tool very useful for professional presentations. Picture quality is excellent cause every photo or other document that I print on her stay with an excellent quality.I use my print at home mainly for print my favorite photos, I am realy very satisfect with the print quality ... ...print, I can't stay waiting minutes and minutes to have my prints.It is take some litle minutes to print. Epson Stylus Photo R280 Photo Printer review Advantages: PRINTING CD's AND DVD's Disadvantages: Poor paper handling--but see addendum ...cardstock. I went through the Epson website trouble shooting screens, and I discovered that the maximum paper weight it can handle is 24 pounds (that's the weight of fine office stationery). Cardstock is usually 50 or 60 pound weight. If I had discovered this earlier, I would have purchased a different printer. As it was, I think Epson made the specifications too vague, by specifying cardstock rather than the weight of usable paper. Addendum: In ... ...paper jam could be reduced by feeding sheets one at a time. I tried it, and the printer worked like a charm--smooth paper feeding and fast printing. The only drawback is that I must stand by the printer and feed each sheet of cardstock one at a time. I should mention that Epson, unlike many vendors, includes high-capacity ink cartridges in the box. Brother HL 2035 - High Quality, Fast and Reliable Advantages: Fast, Reliable, Cheap Ink Disadvantages: None so far I bought my Brother HL 2035 Laser Printer from Ryman Stationary for around £40 (cheapest I could find). Very easy to setup; I was ready to start printing 15 minutes after opening the box. Came with instruction booklet and CD with instructions (accompanied by helpful animations) and installation. good machine - some issues Advantages: Good quality for the money Disadvantages: Not as good as the packaging says ...peronally I have always found Lexmark printers a nightmare to work with. The trouble started when I first got the thing and the CD supplied wouldn't install the software properly, and sent me repeated error messages containing mindless number sequences I didn't understand. It insists on installing fax software which I find nobody really uses anymore, and its otherwise good value for money I feel is compromised by it's ink prices, but I suppose this ... ...quality is very good, along with good speed and feature rich printout customisation, (different photo modes etc.), although color sensitivity is poor in my opinion, but it depends on your perfectionism when it comes to digital printouts. Scanner software is slow and confusing. All in all, I wouldn't really recommend this, though it is a good printer if needs must, and will get the job done more than satisfactorily, so long as you don't mind a few ...
