PI original data cabinet range has become a popular selling unit over the years because it meets the all-round, standard requirements of data installation - ease of assembly and access, safety and security in use, and its' durability once assembled. In short, as good as value-for-money cabinet range that is available on the market today.
Advantages: Faster processor, 16-bit colour, Springboard expansion slot, nice casing colour Disadvantages: Screen flickers occasionally, fatter and heavier than the Visor Deluxe
...WOO-HOO! I've finally got my hands on the new Handspring Visor Prism!
Luckily, Handspring has learned from its past mistakes and ordering a Visor is now quick and painless.

The first thing that hit me when I opened the Prism box was that the machine looks COOL.
The Prism comes in only one colour -- Handspring calls it ``cobalt blue''.
What the pictures on the Handspring website don't show clearly is that the Prism is actually a very nice dark metallic blue.
The Prism also comes with a new cradle to accommodate the increased thickness. Like the Palm IIIc, the Prism's lithium ion battery is charged up when you put it on the cradle.

The Palm IIIc is currently quite cheap, seen for as low as 230 pounds on London's High Streets. This makes it cheaper than the Platinum and the Prism. The IIIc is good if you want colour, but are unable to afford the Prism. The Prism's screen has more clarity and is brighter than the screen of the IIIc. For the serious PDA user, the Handsprings are much more expandable than the IIIc, using the Handspring expansion slot. This can be used for software modules, memory modules, modems, phones, GPS and MP3 player modules.
To conclude, the Handspring Prism is the ultimate for the serious PDA user. It is not only a colourful, powerful tool, but has an almost infinate expandability potential. It has few disadvantages to it(see above), the major one being its high price tag. In short, I highly recommend it. If it were...
