Private Practice is an American drama show shown in England on Living TV on Thursday nights. It?s a spin off from the very popular medical drama Grey?s Anatomy. It is now in its second season.
The show revolves around Dr Addison Forbes Montgomery. If you watch Grey?s Anatomy you will know that she is the ex-wife of Derek Shepherd who worked at Seattle Grace hospital with him and Meredith for a time. She is one of the top neonatal surgeons in the country and when she is offered a job by her old friend Naomi she moves out to California to begin working at a health clinic in Santa Monica. The show thus follows her move to the clinic and the new environment she finds herself in.

Alison Moyet was born in 1961 in Basildon ? an Essex girl. Her career started off in a number of pub type rock groups in the late 70?s/early 80?s, but fame really took off when she became part of the duo that were known as ?Yazoo? featuring Alison as the vocalist and Vince Clark on synthesisers. Vince Clark had previously been with Depeche Mode and then moved on to Erasure, whilst Alison developed a hugely successful solo career.
1980-84 were really significant years for me musically. Music is symbolic of life changing events for me; in 1980 I was 16, left school and went to College, and met the first ?love? of my life. ?Only You?, Yazoo?s most well known hit had a profound effect on me, not least because of the distinctive, deep, expressive voice of Alison (aka Alf).

The voice recognition seems to work well. As it normally recognises the password on either the 1st or 2nd attempt. I've managed to get into my sisters journal by saying her password in a similar fashion to her. You have to say the password in a very similar way to how it was originally recorded or it simply won't let you in.
What fascinates me about this journal is that you change the time and date using voice commands.
To change the time, you would say "change time", then follow the instructions to change it.
