The pro Evo Series has been dissapointing us way back since 2007, each year since FIFA has since become top dogs and pro evolution fans have had to hang their heads in shame. However all that has changed as Pro evolution steals back it's crown as king of the football franchises.

The pro Evo Series has been dissapointing us way back since 2007, each year since FIFA has since become top dogs and pro evolution fans have had to hang their heads in shame. However all that has changed as Pro evolution steals back it's crown as king of the football franchises.
The game recieved a major overhaul and now sports many licensed teams, gorgeuos graphics and updated modes. The creators took every word from fans on what they wanted so as not to dissapoint and boy they didn't.
First off the game looks great. Each player looks realistic and shirts and shorts crease and snd fold really nicely. The pitches and stadiums look wonderful but you won't really be interested in this detail, but it does look wonderful. A big step up in the graphics department.
The main gameplay has also been slightly tweeked. The game sports more realistic and less floaty ball physics, new animations and much more stadiums than previous years. The gameplay flows smoothly and although it will be like playing last years, the graphics and new physics and animation make it feel fresher. The animation have been given an update but still feel like the ps2 days and this area definately still needs a complete overhaul. However, the game stays true to it's origins and no goal looks the same as another and with so many teams you'll be scoring lot's.
The modes and menu's have also been updated with master league and legend modes being remodeled and easier to navigate. The modes now also use real money instead of the pro evo points of past instaallments. the menus are so much easier to use and the soundtrack is greatly improved with bands you'll recognise such as chemical brothers and kaiser chiefs being heard. A new card system in which you can give certain players certain tactics is also a welcome addition and you will probably use it alot.
Presentation menu's much easier to navigate and match openinga have been vastly improved. However after going through many menus in master league it can become a bother to find another. Some old animations too
Graphics the best football game to date and destroys FIFA in this category along with all Pro Evo's predessesors
Sound Basic football sounds and commentary but a great soundtrack and crowd cheers change depending on flow of the match
Gameplay Brilliant game of football the same great formula with loads of teams and stadiums to try out. Legend mode and Champions League are a blast. the cards howver are a hit and miss for some players.
Lasting Appeal The legend mode can go on forever and master league has been improved so offers much replay value and the satisfying gameplay means you will be playing for a long time. laggy online matches though
Overall pro Evo is everything we pro evo fans were hoping for and if it weren't for the older animations lingering around the new ones then it would be even better.
Advantages: Better football simulation, incredible visuals, improved online play. Disadvantages: Slower gameplay comes at a cost of less entertainment
...gamer since the first PS2 Pro Evolution Soccer, PES has always been my choice as a football fan. Even in the most recent lacklustre and disappointing PES releases, there is still some magic formula in the gameplay that makes multiplayer games with mates exceptional, something which I personally don't experience when playing a FIFA release or any other football franchise. The PES series has (in my opinion) been on a downward spiral since the introduction ... ...the newly found credibility of FIFA as a football simulation has converted many PES fans to the FIFA experience. The PES series has been stagnant for too long, the great leaps of PES3, PES4 and PES5 in creating the ultimate football simulation and experience - now a distant memory. PES2010 was released in late October this year. Developers ensured us that they had listened to feedback from players, that online play would play like it should and that ...
