This game is probably the biggest thing to hit football gaming ever, in my opinion any way, at first when you play it you do not notice the difference between the last one and this one, but slowly you sink into and absolute love it, you wish for longer days so you can get that treble or make that extra special signing for the future. The problem i do find with the game is not the game itself but the controls, only on a keyboard though, i found it annoying at first rembering that such and such a key was a shoot and such and such a key was cross, also the arrow keys make it harder to go exactly where you want to. However this problem can be sorted out by the purchase of a controller, and finally the greatest football game is complete and can be enjoyed in all its glory. One feature especially when playing multiplayer that is good is the 'Random select feature' you can choose a country/ies clubs or specific leagues and the computer will pick random players from those areas. So in englands league you could end up with Ronaldo, Rooney and Robben or on the other hand Heskey, Savage and Bramble its all done to luck, however whoever you get it is more fun as you can arrange your team exactly to how you want it and not how they play in real life. This game is the best football game ever, where you actually control the players on the pitch.

The are many new features-
slow dribble- for more control
shield the ball- be clever or annoy your mates
variations of faint- make your opponent look even more stupid
quick restart- allows you to play a short pass to a team mate quickly
player setting- a new one allows you to play the games with the computer managing the subs and tactics
Semi fixed camera- you only control one player in the game.

The options at the main have also changed-
Master league- not only can you change the level of the games but also the level of the points awarding and how hard it is to acquire new players
Exhibition match- pick a team play a game
International challenge- Pick a team take them through qualifying and then compete at the tournament
League mode-play a season as a team
Cup mode-go through a cup competition (without qualification)
Training mode- Learn all the controls of the game

I feel free kicks and corners are easier due to the ability to really curl the ball you will score more free kicks (and they will be beauties) and more goals will come from corners

One thing that really fumes me up about this game is that you can be all over a team and had millions of shots, but they will more often than not score with their first shot. And if they have not scored and i am winning, they will always score, even if i am 9-0 up and not given them a sniff, it seems that no matter what i do i rarely get a clean sheet.

Another problem i found with this game i the final whistle. When the game shows remaining extra time eg.1 min the game will always finish after i clear up after they have attacked, this means they always have the chance for that late equaliser or winner. I have once had a game finish when i was in the clear and about to shoot on the edge of their area.

Althoug there are these problems i can get over them and admire the full game.

Yeah I always thought the final whistle was suspect in PES games.
