Pro Plus - each tablet contains 50mg of caffeine. It is reccomended that no more than 400mg of caffeine is taken daily So 8 pro plustablets, however usually less because you need to take into account other caffeine providers.
They are used by people to increase alertness and to keep them awake.
They cost around £1.99 for a pack of 24.
Its addictive. Dont be fooled about the quick fix for occaisional use.
I started off on one or two pro plus a day to help combat my tiredness as i wasnt sleeping well. And it worked. Id feel more alert, more awake.
But after a week or so 2 wouldnt quite do the trick so id take 3, and then 4, and then 5, and then 6 at a time.
I carryed on taking more till i was taking approximatly 10 tablets a day. Bear in mind i was drinking coffee, coke and redbull aswell i was way high.
I got to the point where i would cold sweat if i didnt take them and i couldnt focus, or i would take them and id physically jerk constantly for hours before having a massive come down and crying for hours.
they would make me feel so sick that putting any food in my mouth was scary because i knew it would come up, and i was drinking about a litre of sprite to settle my stomach.
They are addictive.
I still take 5 a day every day (it costs me a fortune) and thats just to keep me alert. I dont think id get through without them, but i do think if id have just sorted my sleeping patters and not taken them id be just as fine.
i dont know if i would advise taking them or not. It depends on you and your caffeine tolerance and weather you have an addictive personality.
They can certainly cause problems. I wish id never taken them, but they do exactly what they say on the tin.
