...The Has Got To Be The Best Deck Every Produced, But Just Because It's The Pro's Favourite Doesn't Mean To Say That It's The Only Deck Available. There Are Lots Of Manufacture's Revealing More Decks Each Year. To Be Honest I Think The Technic's Deck Needs A Bit Of A Sprucing Up. This Deck Has Stayed The Same For Several Years Now A I Personaly Think That It's Time To Change. I Would Also Consider The Stanton Deck Or The Gemini Which Does Look And Does The Business. The Are All Around The Same Price Bracket, But Try And Shop Around As There Is Second-Hand Decks Out There That Are In Excellent Condition, But At A Fraction Of The Price They Would Sell For New. ...These were my first turntables I bought for myself, but I made this decision after having studied the competition quite a lot. I've played on lots of other decks of approximately same level and none could compare with Numark TT1650. The mixer I used was Numark 1050, which is of the same price level and a perfect match for the these decks. At first they catch your eye with their style. It is pretty futuristic with all of it's elements being very smooth. Another good thing is the configuration of controls, which is very comfortable. Visually, this turntable looks prety well, especially with the mixer I mentioned above. Technically, the same motor as in "senior brother" TT1625 is used here. It is a direct drive, which is pretty a rare thing among the turntables of the same price level. Torque is quite okay (1.0 kgf/cm) and no problems... Read review

...The turntables are the best i have ever used and i have used many rig's, many people say to me techinics are the only option but to these people i say you have not tried these decks. The turntables are the future in mixing. Many new accessories make it the perfect gadget, the only down side is the price, if you can get these decks second hand then do so but make sure they are not damaged as i brought these decks just the beks for about £1000. These decks can be used anywhere but i would recommend if you are going to buy them use them as £1000 is a lot of money for just bedroom mixing. The decks have: Direct drive turntable. Blue display gives the pitch digitally, BPM and motor settings. Cangeable arms both straight and S-shaped. Removable light with a bright white lcd.
