Quinoderm Cream for Acne: Fight off those spots!
Advantages: It really works and you will notice much clearer, and spot-free skin. Disadvantages: It dries out the skin and it will bleach anything that comes into contact with your face.
...ago a friend recommended the Quinoderm cream to me and it became an essential soon after. I haven't used the cream in 2 or 3 years now but recently the spots on my neck have become so bad again (for some strange reason) I've quickly had to buy another tube of this stuff. What is Quinoderm? Quinoderm Cream for acne is for people who suffer from acne such as Acne Vulgaris (common acne), acneform eruptions (acne like rash), and folliculitis. In ... ...I should point out that Quinoderm is simply a cream with the active ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide. Any sufferer from acne/spots will notice this straight away, it's often found in any good product aimed at fighting spots. I will also point out that the brand Freederm do a similar cream, at a much more expensive price however you really don't need to spend that sort of money! Indeed, all it will contain is the same Benzoyl Peroxide ingredient and it's ...

Stings on sensitive skin, not effective on medium spots
Advantages: Not too expensive, contains lots of pads, easily available Disadvantages: Stung badly on sensitive skin and didn't appear to help my skin
...haven't had any luck with Clearasil before, but decided to give it a go, who knows... I've come to the conclusion that Clearasil are a company aimed at helping people with very mild skin issues. If you suffer from reoccuring problems, or something more serious, I wouldn't recommend them. Anyway, the product itself. It smells very strong when you're up close to it, but in a way this is reassuring, you think it's going to zap your spots away! I was ... ...it stung, a lot!! I didn't have open sores or anything, but my skin is sensitive, and these pads are certainly not made for sensitive skin. There are a lot of pads inside, and I didn't consider it expensive overall. I used them in the evening over 4 days, and promptly gave up when I saw no noticeable improvement, nor could stand the acidic stinging! So, be careful when choosing this product... Not for sensitive skins, or medium/severe spots. Summary: ...

Spot off Oxy
Advantages: Not expensive compared to other products, widely available Disadvantages: For me, totally uneffective
...was a big range of Oxy products on sale. I started applying it in evenings after washing my face. It didn't overly sting which was nice. I did this over a week or so and saw nothing notable. Spots had not subsided, redness still there, still painful. So, I applied it in the morning as well. Started getting really dry face (think I went a bit far in the hope that too much was better than not enough!!!) and, again, no real visible benefits. After 5 ...

Very expensive for what you get :(
Advantages: Convenient size bottle to take away (that's all I can think of really...!) Disadvantages: Price and lack of results
I had read everything good about these products, all the celebrity reviews and got totally swept away!!! Anyway, bought this product a few months ago and used it over the two months following. It didn't over sting which was nice, but for me, it just wasn't effective. I know everyone has different skin and reacts in different ways, but I had such high hopes for this treatment. It started by drying a few of my spots but my skin seemed to just get used ...

Freederm, not bad price, not good results
Advantages: Not expensive Disadvantages: Dryness and disappointment
Tried it over a week and then gave up. Made my face achey and dry after 2 days. Thought this was good, at first, all the grease being absorbed, but actually just left with dry patches all over the place which were pretty painful to the touch and when I towel dried my face after washing. Shame, I really wanted it to work!!! Had seen the TV adverts a while back. Think price is OK, not too expensive. Just didn't seem to do the job on me personally. ...
