kitty_l
Advantages: softens skin
Disadvantages: some dry patches on my face s left
...normal/oily
I came across Dermalogica through a friend and seen this brand sold in salons, promoting facials. My skin started to break out with loads of spots just after Christmas and my current products by clinique was not working for me.
My friend said Dermalogica is good even though she hasn’t used it. I seen products raved in magazine. So I thought give it a chance. I also did research I was about to buy Kanebo skincare products which has an ... ...correctly.

Freederm
Review of Freederm Acne Treatment by
Black_Sapphire
Advantages: Slightly reduces redness
Disadvantages: sticky,not easily absorbed
...product I stumbled upon was freederm gel. It clamed to reduce the redness and clear up the spot. Unfortunatly I don't know the price because my mum brought it for me. The product is a gel which you simply put on the affected area. Personally I didn't find this very effective. The gel was quite sticky and took ages to sink into my skin. It also didn't really do much, the redness was slightly reduced but not by much. I have to say I wouldn't buy this ...

Quinoderm face wash
Review of Quinoderm Quinoderm by
furryjen78
Advantages: Nicer smell than the cream, relatively cheap
Disadvantages: None
...MORE!
I have used Quinoderm cream for some years now and although it is effective it does smell strongly and I have the habit of forgetting to apply it or stopping using it when my skin clears up. Always a big mistake - within a few weeks the spots are back!
I discovered Quinoderm face wash on one of my internet browsing sessions - I actually discovered Freederm first and tried this (which was far too expensive and didn't make a blind bit of difference!) ... ...facewash at half the price of Freederm. I thought I'd give it a go and although there aren't instant results I have been very pleasantly surprised by it. The facewash is nice to apply - albeit blue so it reminds my of clearasil. It smells nice as well and doesn't have the same smell as the cream (thank goodness!) It doesn't dry my skin any more than water does either. After 6 months of using it daily (only in the mornings, I use a witchhazel cleanser ...

Lovely and Natural But Relatively Weak
Review of Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick by
ConsumerBabe
Advantages: Natural & Herbal Smell and Ingredients
Disadvantages: Not as potent as more acidic "un-natural" products
Most of the Burts Bees Product Range is lovely and natural and made of subtle herbally fragrant ingredients that you can feel okay about putting on your skin. Even the tins and containers are nice. This product fits in with the natural family products range...one just knows that whatever they put in the products is going to be gentle and non-offensive (in both smell and side effects). This new kid on the block might be so non-offensive that it does ...
