Disadvantages: A bit too keen on a quick sale

...I chose Allen and Harris in Clifton village (Bristol) to sell my flat primarily due to their location (at the end of my street). Overall I have been very impressed with their service. The particluars they produced were excellent - I almost didn't recognise the flat the photos looked so good. They were very quick off the mark at getting people into view - within 24 hrs of instructing A&H they had 6 people lined up. This level of interest was maintained at approximately 8 viewings a week until a buyer was found approximately 4 weeks later. I found their staff professional, courteous and enthusiastic. They kept me informed of progress at all times. Furthermore they always showed clients the property themselves rather than expercting me to do it. ...Haart estate agents in Lincoln are very unprofessional. As part of their advertising they say that most estate agencies are criticised for not providing feedback, well we receieved feedback from 1 out of 6 viewers. It took the 2 weeks to get a brochure together and 1 week to get a for sale sign put out side the house which they left outside for 2 weeks after we took the house off the market. As far as professionalism and organisations goes they are rubbish. I had viewers arriving on my doorstep on the wrong day having checked their appointment with Haart it seems they were in the diary more than once. When offers were sent to us in writing they did not make sense, one said the couple had a place to sell, the other offer said the same couple were first time buyers. ...a day. ISA's - I recently got a cash ISA from Llyods and admit that going into the meeting I was completley at a loss as to the options available. I was walked through all choices available to me, implications and consequences and potential fund growth at the end of the period. Very very helpful and informative. They deal with Scottish Widows ISA's and thus far all has gone well. I have no knowlegde of mortages and pensions offered by Lloyds but I would not feel at risk if I used them for these services.
