A speaking and listening course for business students learning the English language. It deals with the typical problems that business people face when they have to do business in a... more...foreign language.
Advantages: You don't have to do anything - the audio CDs do it for you. Disadvantages: You have to make do with the messages already recorded. You cannot amend / add to them.
There are about twenty-odd CDs on that many subjects of self-improvement on their site. I have purchased five of them, as gift to people who I thought needed them the most.
Here's where I bought them - http://www.short10.com/?c=audiosubliminal.
At $20 each, the gift is fairly inexpensive. But as value-addition to their life, I think it has made a world of difference.
You buy the CD, put them in the player, pull the headphone around the ears, and that's it.
There are two versions of soundtrack in any audio CD. One version is digitized using subliminal recording (you can't even hear what is being said), reverse speech (you just can't make out what is being said), and stereo confusion (different messages coming to your left and right ears). The keywords are "can't make out" - your conscious mind cannot make out what it is ...
I love TY beanies, they are utterly adorable! My friends and I have collected them for years and between us we own most of them, I think! One of these cute little animals is Class of 2004 the owl.
Class of 2004:
Class of 2004 is not exactly the name of this owl, but moreso what it stands for. Naturally is stands for all those who are in the class of 2004! Appearance:
The owl, ironically, looks like an own! He has white fur which is quite thick and long and to the touch is very soft indeed. His arms are made of a much finer fur which is not as thick but equally as soft. His fuzzy face is decorated with a little black beak and two beady eyes, and his little ...
Advantages: Side Impact version has good reviews for safety Disadvantages: No major ones
We took ages to decide which type of car seat we wanted - one to install and leave or one that you'd be able to carry baby around in. Further research and we decided an install and leave would be more appropriate as we could get more use out of it (newborn to about 4 yrs) and then easily use a sling/baby carrier. Of the 0+ class of seats we looked at we were most impressed by the Britax First Class for its good safety reviews and the length of use we should be able to get straight from birth. And we've not been disappointed. Easy to install and remove, looks comfortable for little Siún, not too heavy but you wouldn't want to be carrying it around, nice finish and generally feels sturdy. It is a little bit on the big side, and the set up means that in the newborn position a seat belt sits in the way slightly but other than that we ...
