Back in 2000, Metropolis Street Racer (MSR) launched into the market and was an instant success; I was one of the many proud Dreamcast owners who had bought this game. MSR had tried something new with its racing system. You would progress by just driving fast and beating the other racers to the finish line, but it was all about driving with style and still winning the race, so you would have to power slide your way around the streets of 3 real-life cities around the world! If you are seeking an XBOX racing game, Project Gotham 2 is definitely the one for you. Basically, Project Gotham is quite a fun and realistic racing game, with great graphics, sounds and cool cars. There are many more tracks and cars on XBOX Live service.
In the game, you have to drive as wild and crazy as possible without losing control in order to accumulate Kudos points that allow you to purchase new cars to use. Drifting and drafting (following closely to the car in front of you), picking the best line through the corner and several other techniques will also allow you to rack up Kudos points.
Cars are impressively detailed and accurately modeled and the cities you race in are very realistic. There are over 200 soundtracks and you can also copy your own songs from your preferred CD to the XBOX's hard drive and play ...

Project Gotham Racing 2 is a great game for any age. It tests not only your speed, but also your skill and style rewarding you for how you drive more than how fast you drive. Because of this, you will find that going as fast as you can round the circuit, making terrible turns, will not help you! HOW you make the turn is quite often the crucial factor.
There are 5 different race styles within single player mode:
1) One on one - You versus 1 other computer oponent. To win, you must simply beat the other racer
2) Street race - 4 to 8 cars, you have to place 3rd upwards to win, depending on difficulty setting
